Everything. David is a modest but warm and thoughtful host. Nothing is too much trouble for him. Very good room and excellent (and reasonably priced) food and drinks. Delightful château with fascinating history.

“Our house, was our castle and our keep…”

What a fabulous experience. Met by David who helped us to our comfortable room then joined him and the other guests for apéritif’s on the shady terrace before a communal dinner with interesting conversations despite language difficulties. Schoolboy French definitely challenged, but David kept the conversation flowing with helpful translations. Great food and local beers with a story behind everything which all seem to have been produced either by David and his family or someone he knew.

It was absolutely gorgeous, the food was farm to table and the Chateau is a part of living history. Mr.David is an incredible host and the sightseeing recommendations were spot on. It is the perfect place to disconnect, relax, and enjoy the French countryside.

it has an atmosphere of grandeur and the ambiance is very welcoming in a historic context. it is an oase in itself and the host is of a next level in making you feel very much looked after. the rooms and bathrooms are comfortabel and stylish. the joint aperitif and diner and certainly the breakfast with fresh ingredients from the region give an extra spark to the overall hospitality.

Location tranquil and relaxing. Ambiance superb David was a wonderful attentive host and eating with the other extremely interesting guests made our stay. Food and wine delicious. We also got lucky and were upgraded to the bridal suite, enormous and two of everything in the bathroom. If you like friendly intimate chateau’s I cannot recommend this property enough.

Extraordinary location with great history. Warm welcome of the owner who gives a lot of information about this wonderful castle. If you like he arranges for a drink with other guests before diner time- in case you have pre booked. It is highly recommendable to do this. We had a great evening with other guests with fine food and interesting talks.

The charming hosts create a personal, warm athmosphere which makes everone feel at home at once. Beautiful park with lots of space and possiblities to relax.

The ambience and the positive create of the owner. Evening meal together with other guests was very nice. Very nice big room too.

The castle is beautiful and the hospitality of the owner David and his family is incredible. We had an excellent dinner with all products from the family's farm. We will definitely come back.

Infact, we are looking at 2023 for a longer stay because we love the tranquility the area has to offer and the fine dinning too.
