Overview
This traditional-style, Andalusian country mansion is just south of Los Alcornocales Nature Reserve, midway between Tarifa and Algeciras. It offers an outdoor pool and gym, free parking and a free Wi-Fi zone. You can see Africa across the Straits of Gibraltar, and the hotel organizes day trips to Tangiers. It also offers storage for surf boards, and the closest beach is approximately 8 km away. There is free parking at the hotel. Rooms and bungalows at Meson de Sancho are heated and feature wooden or tiled floors. Each has a TV and a modern private bathroom with a hairdryer, bath and shower. Expecting just a motel, we were astonished how comfortable an unique it was. The room was quiet, food excellent (and admirable collection of spirits, over a thousand bottles (including rare, old single malts), but the best was the personnel. Very helpful (offered a garage for our bike), welcoming and they made us feel at home.

“Charming hotel with lovely staff”
A charming big room with a big bed and bathroom. It had a window with a beautiful view over the calm mountains behind the hotel. Helpful and friendly staff made us feel very welcome and served us good breakfast.
