“Not as advertised”
Casa Sammie was advertised on Booking.com as a 3-bedroom house with air conditioning. Sounded perfect for my 2 sisters and myself. But it was not as advertised. It was a 2-bedroom house with no air conditioning in the living room-kitchen area. There were also hundreds of ants in the kitchen. According to the real estate agent renting the property, there is a separate bedroom in a different building, but she did not give us the key to this room. So one of us (all in our 60s) had to climb the ladder to the top bunk and sleep on a very old uncomfortable mattress. (Spoiler alert: It was me!) We appreciated the pool and the outside sitting areas, but we would have really appreciated having air conditioning in the living room after spending the day out in the high heat and humidity. The showers provided only a small stream of water - not worth the effort. The million dollar view advertised does not exist. Yes, the house is close to the ocean, but you can't see it through the trees. The back garden and pool are lovely, as is the top deck area.
