“A very nice and well located hotel”

The hotel is beautiful and well located. Rooms are huge and very comfortable. Besides the king bed, In the room there is a sitting area, a well -equipped kitchenette and a huge a very comfy balcony. Bathroom is also huge. The swimming pool is great and the buffet breakfast is amazing. I enjoyed my stay.

“Nice hotel, friendly staff but be aware that is sits next to a SCHOOL”

Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We were picked up from the airport and welcomed with a nice and pretty cocona juice. The apartment was clean. We had a front view of the swimming pool and a sort of terrace in the back which was completely empty and half in cement, half painted white. It would have been nicer to have some furniture there or at least a drying rack to dry all the clothes because the small line in the bathroom was not enough for all the wet clothes from the rain plus the waterfall trip. There are fans in each room and AC but the living room did not have enough ventilation. The wardrobes were quite big with was nice but in one room they smelled a bit moldy, I guess it’s important to keep them opened when there are no guests there. Laundry service was amazing and we loved the breakfast, it changes a bit every day.

“Nice hotel”

Our stay at the hotel was enjoyable: it isn't located in the center, but with a tuc-tuc motorcar you'll get there in 5 minutes. Breakfasts were really nice - fresh fruits everyday, options of lactose-free milk available, eggs, cheese, coffee, oats, etc. In 6 days, we didn't get bored with it :) The staff was also very friendly and ready to answer any questions. We even got an early check-in on the day of arrival, which was a very nice surprise. AC in the room was great to have.

“Great but the price wasn't clear”

It cost $140 USD to book online and in the email it said to pay addition the property fees when arrived and that it would be $30 uSD. When I got there, I was charged $106USD. Wtf? They were not transparent on their price. I felt tricked.

Room had AC and it was clean. No bugs. Restaurant in the hotel was quite good.

The rooms were wonderful and chilling out by the pool in the tropical jungle air was fantastic

We stayed at Tucan one night both on arrival in Tarapoto and before departing Tarapoto. The first night we were there they put us in a normal room overlooking the pool with the kitchen upstairs. That room was alright, but there was no hot water. I think that was because the water is heated by solar and it was already late and without sun when we arrived. When we came back for the second night, they put us into a bigger room upstairs and there was plenty of hot water.
