“Absolutely amazing place!”

It took our driver a bit of effort to find the place, but once we arrived in Mama Africa it was like entering the garden of Eden. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the bungalows look absolutely amazing, the food was excellent as was the swimming pool. We definitely wish we could have stayed a little longer! Personally I was very touched by their kindness to my eldest daughter who left the day after us and was very well looked after whilst she was there on her own. We will definitely recommend the place to anyone who is planning to go to the Gambia!

“Very aesthetic female led lodge with beachbar which you can reach within 10min walk”

This women-focused lodge by an known female artist displays beautiful art and the rooms equally are done with high aesthetic sense. The staff was very relaxed and loving and protectiv over me as a single woman. 10min walk ,(a straight, wide dirtroad) leads to their new adjointed beachbar, equally as beautiful and inviting to relax all day.

The hotel consists of the huts in the beatiful large garden. The huts are of large space furnished in african style. There is a museum of african items also african items are all over the garden. The team is very very amable and nice. THey prepared some food for us for late arrival.
