We had a wonderful stay at this lovely house. The location is excellent, right on the edge of the old town, which made it more accessible than other places while still offering an authentic feel. The views from the roof were truly unforgettable, and it was so nice to have our own private space, which was also very well equipped (although there is no washing machine). The breakfast provided was very good. We also want to thank the caretaker for their exceptional patience; our arrival was delayed, but they were very understanding and kind.

THE VIEW WAS OUTSTANDING. Definitely worth the steps and the climb to the top. We spent many an hour enjoying the views. And when we weren’t on the balcony we were exploring the streets of the Medina. Close to many restaurants and coffee shops and markets. Our accommodation was lovely with all the comfort you need and a delicious simple breakfast set out for us in our kitchen/dining area.

Such a lovely stay in this quirky property, perfectly located in the kasbah for great views and some lovely places to eat and drink nearby.

The building is really charming and beautifully decorated. The whole experience is unique because of the lovely old house. It's one for romantics, there is a small kitchen but not really practical for doing alot of cooking. Unfortunately I would say don't book if you have mobility issues because of the small winding stairs. Breakfast delivered was such a treat, Juan and Ilyas were very kind and helpful. I was there with my teenage daughter, she also loved the experience however the stairs might be a bit stressful with very young children.

Beautiful place to stay, breakfast and coffee delivered each morning. The host is communicative and helpful and had organized for us to be picked up late at night from the airport which was super helpful and for a fair price! The house is decorated beautifully, it was delightful to sit on the terrace and look out at the view. The housekeeper does an AMAZING job, everything was impeccably clean with towels rotated! Good location in the Medina! My only issue was the internet is not very good so I recommend getting a SIM as it is a bit of a blackhole.

“Rooftop views +++”

The rooftop view is spectacular and being partially under cover is a huge bonus. The bed was comfortable. Communication with the owner via WhatsApp was very good. The location is fantastic.

The location is wonderful, in the medina and just below the kasbah. The property has masses of character and good views, especially from the terrace at the top. It was clean. The bed was comfortable. The shower worked well, and so did everything else. The breakfast was good (a fried egg, bread, jam, freshly squeezed orange juice and mint tea). The host was extremely friendly and helpful, through messages, even though he wasn’t in town during my stay.

This is such a fun place to stay - you get your very own tower! We loved everything here, the location, the breakfast, the roof terrace and more. The stairs are steep but worth the effort!

“A genuine memorable Moroccan experience !”

A genuine riad over 3 floors in the heart of the old town. Quaint and cosy. We were met at the airport by our driver who the host had organised and then met at the property by Larbi. Both he and the driver carried our luggage up the extremely steep stairs. Larbi then sat us down and prepared Moroccan tea as a welcome 🤗. The property has a charming roof terrace with good views of the harbour which was perfect in the evenings. The bed was surprisingly comfortable as it’s a double and we are used to king size. Larbi brought us breakfast every morning. It was a highlight. Baked eggs in a tangine. We are going to try and replicate. Along with plenty of toast and butter with jams. Good strong Moroccan coffee.

“Overall very enjoyable stay at Juans place”

Very nice having breakfast delivered and set up in the aprtment and the breakfast dishes were always hot, including the mint tea and the coffee. Nice touch. Really good communication with Juan via Whatsapp both leading up to and during our stay, even though he was not in the city because of the holiday. He was really helpful and quick to respond to queries. Abdelilah, the driver who Juan had organised for us to be picked up from the airport when we arrived was exccellent, very patient, helpful and respectful. He took my wife and I to Chefchouan for the day and also dropped us off at the ferry terminal when we left Tangier. These things made our stay in Tangiers more memorable.
