“Hideaway is tired but still offers a reasonable break”

The Hideaway is tired and needs an injection of funds and a complete renovation. The staff are fabulous working hard friendly and doing their best with broken or old facilities. The food was good, the entertainment was basic but fun. Gardens are lovely. The view and the beach are terrific. The area is quiet so nothing walking distance in alternative restaurants. Beds were comfortable. Even the paths need to be fixed before someone has a big fall. Happy hour was great fun with interesting cocktails and loud bar trivia. Went to Sunday church in a local village as an activity offered. We will never forget the singing by Fijians who naturally sing harmonies in 2 to 4 parts. The music was uplifting and joyous. A lovely experience.

Breakfast omlettes, pool not crowded, some great dinner entertainment. Beautiful friendly staff who helped make my Birthday weekend very special. Lovely cocktails. Excellent laundry service. Snorkel gear, fins and reef shoes available for use.

Great location along the Coral Coast, very easy to access nearby villages and a few shops and restaurants. Staff were truly exceptional and gave us such a wonderful experience. They remember your name and greet you with excitement. Great hospitality and homely feel at this resort. The rooms were large and spacious and had a great view. A few cosmetic improvements could bring this property up. Overall, we had an absolutely amazing stay and would definitely come back.

All of the activities staff at the hotel were fabulous. Special mention to Tash went above and beyond to be kind to our family. Beautiful snorkelling right outside the resort. Great resort for families with children.

Staff was excellent, friendly, polite, accommodating in every way. Swimming pool gorgeous, large size and lovely setting right on the beach. Restaurant options weren't too many but were totally adequate and tasted great! Their pina coladas are delicious! Evening performances with local children singing were delightful. Truly beautiful setting for a resort. Our cabin was right on the Pacific Coast with breathtaking views. Highly recommend this place for an excellent experience and amazing value for your money.
