This particular owner wanted me to cancel last moment despite of having rooms. When I questioned him why you want me to cancel he said they are closed. Then I asked why you are are showing avaliblity if you are closed he did not have answer and cut off my line..

Comfortable & cozy cabana! Perfect location to Tangalle Beach where we were fortunate enough to see sea turtles laying their eggs! 20min walk away from Mangrove Beach where you’re allowed to swim. Friendly staff, tasty dinner. Good wifi in the restaurant area.

Well positioned for the beach , the restaurant onsite was delicious and there are also plenty nearby . The cabanas are very clean and comfortable with good bathroom facilities. Would highly recommend

We had an amazing stay! The staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. The cabanas were very comfortable, but our absolute favorite spot was the hammock right in front—the perfect place to relax. The food was a highlight too: huge portions, great prices, and everything tasted delicious. Plus, the location is fantastic, just a 3-minute walk to a beautiful beach. We already can't wait to come back!

One of our highlight and will recommend people to go there - great location by by the beach, one cafe / one restaurant on property ….. and the food is GREAT ! Price are not overcharged and quality food, thanks for that !!! Cottage are simple but comfortable, and you can hear birds / wazes from your bed or hammock break time. I would suggest minimum 2 nights stay regarding the season, if you come for turtle breeding season you can watch them at night and also see the babies running out from their eggs - TOP and just 100 m from the accomodation. The hammock was great! The location feels a bit remote and not that many people are walking on the street, it was nice to take walks but at night it is really dark. You can still reach a few restaurants though, but be aware that this is a quiet area.

Great location for the beach, a 5 minute walk. Good clean accommodation, and the best Curry and Rice in Sri Lanka !

Everything was clean/ comfortable - hammock was cool as well. Location is close to the beach and the restaurant was also nice. Owners also did a drop off to our next Accomodation for a good price.

Staff wonderful, helpful and not intrusive. Food we ate in the restaurant, we loved the food we've travelled around Sri Lanka and this is awesome home cooked fresh produce superb. Beds soo comfortable, room spotlessly clean. Peaceful, calm location. SUPERB Italian coffee lol, we are coffee nuts and so happy to get this here. Beach just minutes away and soo quiet there, turtles laying eggs at present (February ) Quite a few local homestay restaurants nearby in walking distance, we tried 2 but then returned here for dinner and breakfast, it really is the best. Wr had the air con room

Awesome location, quiet, peaceful place, careful and attentive host, trying to fullfill all your wishes -- I give 10/10. You need to walk a bit if you want to swim, but I consider this even as a feature. Lagoon with mangrove trees is nearby so you can rent a kayak and diverse your stay, Tangalle itself has snorkling places, turtles are also here so all pleasures at your service. Delicious food, positive vibes -- we came for 2 nights and ended up staying for a week so what else to say?)

“Wonderful beach cabana”

Wonderful family owned cabanas in Tangalle. 2 minute walk to the beach (+10 mins to get to a suitable swimming area) and the cabanas are well equipped with modern bathrooms and a fan. I’d recommend renting a scooter to explore the nearby area and to spot some langurs and birds too.

“Starlight Cabanas in magical Tangalle”

This place is magical. So peaceful in the woods with the waves breaking just a couple of 100m away. The hammock was lovely to relax in. Loved the location.

Amazing everything. The huts are well designed and the balcony with hammock is superb to hangout and enjoy the sounds of the sea and the birds. Location is perfect right next to the beach to go see the stars or look for turtles. Family run business where everyone is kind and attentive. They also helped us organize our taxis throughout our stay. Delicious cooking on premise (best coconut pancakes !)

Nice and quiet place, good to observe a turtles and enjoying a peace.
