“Great space to relax”

Owners are very attentive and helpful, gave us nice room upgrade for free as its off season.Easy walk to the beach, plenty of places to eat and chill nearby. famous Goyambokka beach is 5 min taxi away.

I stayed at Sole & Luna during a management transition and I can already see a big positive change. The restaurant has recently reopened and they can prepare almost anything on request, including real Italian food, just ask in advance. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, which is not so common in Sri Lanka. The hotel also has a beautiful terrace, perfect for relaxing or doing yoga. The location is excellent, just 40 seconds walk from the beach. The staff was extremely helpful and gave great recommendations about places to visit nearby. Overall, the atmosphere is peaceful and authentic. I also loved the small details like the parrots and the ducks around the property.

“Great room, friendly ambiance with wonderful staff”

Firstly, the staff were so friendly and so helpful with so many different things. The room was big, spacious, super clean and even had a large patio. The ambience of the whole resort was lovely, easy and a great place to stay. So great that I extended my stay twice. The pool was so inviting and relaxing after a warm day. I would highly recommend staying here especially with their reasonable prices.

The view from the balcony, spacious bathroom and lovely staff. Breakfast was wonderful only the omelette was too salty… Our first hotel with a good WiFi connection.

Room was vary spacious and the hotel location is just across the road from the beach, however you have to walk further down to the second bay to swim as swimming near the hotel in the sea is very difficult as it's way too rough. Lovely small pool area with hotel and staff very helpful and friendly. Bathroom was dark not enough light. We had an issue with Ants throughout out stay . Overrun in the bathroom. Staff did help but only used an aerosol spray and the fumes were horrendous. We had to call them back to the room but again didn't resolve and then we had to clean up lots of dead ant bodies in the bathroom. We just kept the spray in the room. Hotel is approximately 30 min walk into town. Comfortable bed., coffee available in room with kettle and fridge.

“Overall ok stay”

Hotel is aging a bit basic rooms but clean. Staff are a bit relaxed on beach time i suppose but just ask them what you need and you will receive. No tv but that’s no problem. Nice clean pool.nice beaches across the road and more just a short walk away.probably wouldn’t bother with breakfast again I’d rather go across the road for nice local food. staff friendly and nice. Over all ok hotel it is clean don’t expect too much but would stay again no problem

The hotel is old style but clean and the staff very helpful and super friendly, cannot fault them. The breakfast was way too big and we recommend the restaurant across the road, good food on the beach.

It is clean, calm and nice place

We booked 2 rooms and rooms were spacious. Though we have been told dinner can be taken from hotel, the person in reception direct us to another near by resturant saying he will get a discount but ended up with 11,000/= bill without any reduction .We were only 2 adults and 3 kids below 10. Breakfast so called english breakfast ,was so poor, excuse was they are out of supplies . However ,they served total different menu . Dissapointed.
