“Great place in nature close to the beach and to a very affordable price”

Great place off the path directly in nature surrounded by nature sounds, coconut treats and all kinds of animals running around. It’s a quick walk to the beach. And the beach is my favorite of the ones we visited as it is sooo long, amazing waves to watch and still so secluded. If you want to stay out of the noise of the town, be in nature and have Long Beach walks compared with great restaurants in walking distance you‘ll love it here. Staff is also super helpful and will help you organize whatever you need!

The family here are lovely. The food is incredible, very tasty, big portions, and at a very good price. The beach is literally a 2minute walk from the property. If you like to be in nature and you like peaceful surroundings, this is for you. The area is beautiful. We spent a morning kayaking on the Rekawa Lake, and it was probably one of the best things we have done here in Sri Lanka. The wildlife was in abundance, the sunrise was beautiful, and we were the only people on the lake apart from one lonely fishman, a great photo opportunity was had while the sun was rising. I would say if you have hot weather then you will need to book a room with air con. We booked the room thinking a fan would be enough, but it was hot, even at night. The bathroom could benefit from a little attention. Overall, excellent stay and I would stay here again, 100%.

quiet place with a lot of green plants, different birds around and some other cute local animals. there are places around to explore. great empty beach. clean rooms. friendly family that helps you if you want or need something. great place for people who got tired from stressful city life and want to slow down, observe the nature and relax. 👍😎

“Tranquil stay surrounded by nature”

Lovely quiet location with a leafy garden a few minutes walk to the beach. Beautiful super comfortable four poster bed hand made by a local carpenter. I slept so well there. There was lots of bird life & some great little restaurants nearby. The host was very kind.

“You get what you pay for and here maybe a little more”

You get what you pay for. The rate is excellent so any negative thoughts seem a little churlish. The grounds are beautiful and each lodge seems to have plant cover for privacy. Our room was large but ineffective as it had two huge beds back to back and no room to sit,other than outside. The shower was adequate and even provided hot water. There were two floor fans which needed to be on all night, so ear plugs a necessity. Lighting was just about adequate, especially if one didn't want clarity in a mirror.The manager was most pleasant and owned a useful tuk tuk. The bird life,water monitor lizards,peacocks and monkeys in the garden were worth the room rate. The proximity to the beach couldn't have been better but waves and shelving made the idea of swimming a little daunting. The two meals we did have were wonderfully cooked by the mother of the manager.Hot water delivered on a tray for us to make our own tea was much appreciated. Proximity to some other restaurants ideal, especially the best food we had, served by smiling cooks at Turtle vibe seafood.

“Just amazing!”

The whole place is just amazing. It‘s located inbetween the Lagoon and the ocean. You have a huge amount of Wildlife. One Highlight was also the Observation of a turtle lying their eggs. Malik showed us where we can find them. And it’s very calm and chilled. The Bungalow we had was very spacious and clean. Also we had a nice view from our terrace inside the big Garden where we saw many Animals as well. But the very best of the place is the people who are running it. They’re so kind and funny and make everything possible for you, just ask them! The food made by mother is amazing. Especially Rice and Curry. We will come back at some Point :)

Room was super clean and comfy Well located close to the beach (~200m) and the turtle releasing area The food is cheap and super good and big quantity Host are super kind, caring and welcoming.

The location is excellent if you want to relax , which worked perfectly in our case.Bare in mind though that it isn't walking distance from Tangalle centre.

Seasound Cabana is the perfect place to stay, we did love to stay there, quiet beautiful location, very nice cabanas and very friendly stuff. I do recommend as well the very friendly and helpful Tuk Tuk driver Samantha that belongs to this place, he took us around for three days and did show may places, it was so much of a pleasure, the best place we stayed on our trip !

A place with a unique atmosphere, close to the beach (3 minutes walk), where turtles lay their eggs, also not far from safe swimming areas. In addition, very friendly, helpful and patient staff :) and sensational cuisine - it is not worth looking elsewhere in the area, because you will not find such tasty dishes :) Comfortable beds, clean rooms, water - perfect. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay!

Lovely welcome by owners. Set in beautiful gardens. Room was clean with a good mosquito net. A fan to cool you was adequate for our visit. The room had a lovely hammock to relax on. Short distance to the beach, and a short walk to see the turtles hatching or laying. I 100% recommend this accommodation to relax.

The vibe was super chill , and the famely of the place realy welcoming , and Cook amazing food !
