“Our favourite stay in Sri Lanka!”

We had an amazing time here. The room was huge, clean and gorgeous and the balcony was so lovely to use. The staff were kind, warm and so helpful. The breakfast and coffee was great and we loved all the food but especially the ice cream we had here. We also went to see turtles laying their eggs just 15 minutes away by tuk tuk and saw 2 within an hour!

The staff are unbelievable kind and lovely. They upgraded me to a top floor room which had huge ceilings and was a dream to sleep in.

“Wonderful relaxing experience”

Green Parrot is a paradise. Set just off the most beautiful and peaceful beach, is a hotel & restaurant with everything you need for a relaxing stay. I was upgraded on arrival to a better room due to the hotel being quiet which was a lovely touch. Avishka, front of house staff was so warm, welcoming and helpful. He kindly helped me with plans for the rest of my trip and gave me information about other Sri Lankan destinations. Highly recommend for a luxury experience and friendly atmosphere. Nice drinks too!

“Nice staff, but some problems”

The staff was lovely and did everything to make the stay okay.

Exceptional hotel - stunning and serene surroundings, charming staff and great facilities. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast (the staff kindly put together an exquisite fruit platter for us even though it wasn’t on the menu - papaya, mango, passion fruit, pineapple, banana…), but lunch was also great (we mostly had grilled chicken and grilled veg after a few weeks of Sri Lankan curries). We also enjoyed having beers and snacks in the bar in the evening.

We had an incredible stay at Green Parrot. It's such a calm location with very friendly and welcoming staff. The rooms are incredible. They're so big, clean and beautiful. There's also an adorable calm dog that hangs around the hotel. We loved our stay and highly recommend.

The location, close to the beach. The room spacious, light and clean. The breakfast and the dinner was super nice presented and fresh. The workers were very kind and professional. The pool was nice.

Beautiful little retreat right on the beach and with a lovely swimming pool. Restaurant was good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We’d highly recommend.

Beautiful hotel on the outskirts of Tangalle. 2min walk from a wild amazing beach with fishermen in the early morning. Great food at the restaurant although a bit expensive.

Super comfortable room, everything is nice and clean. Staff is helpfull, happy and supportive. Pool is great and cleaned every day. Breakfast was good and quick. It is a small walk through the alley to the beach. We had the best shower here in our two weeks of stay so far. There is a refillable waterbottle in the room always fresh water at the reception and restaurant.

The beach was not safe for swimming so it was great to have the swimming pool . The simple restaurant was convenient. Close to Yala for the safari

This was a fantastic stay, we loved our time at Green Parrot, the pool is well maintained and the sunbeds umbrellas provide plenty of shade, nice friendly team who were happy to help.

Green Parrot is a modern boutique hotel surrounded by a garden with a pool. It’s just a few steps away from a charming, wild, and virtually empty beach. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, featuring cozy beds, stylish decor, and a private terrace. The bathroom was spotless. We enjoyed a tasty breakfast at the hotel restaurant. The staff was friendly and helpful. It’s the perfect place to relax away from the hustle and bustle.
