Thank you so much, Deshan and family! We loved our stay. Rooms were clean and nice, food was the best we have had in Sri Lanka, atmosphere was extraordinarily friendly and welcoming. Loved the home made cake we got as a surprise. The best hosts!

We had a lovely room on first floor with balcony. Air con and linen especially the towels were great. Comfortable bed, nice pillows with a lovely turquoise sheet. The family are all really nice and very helpful particularly their lovely daughter who speaks fairly good English. The food in the restaurant downstairs is some of the best we’ve had all trip especially the homemade curd/yogurt with the coconut honey and the Sri Lanka curry. Very generous. Also try their mango mojitos😋😋😋😋Would recommend😃

Cozy room, very clean. Good AC and utilities. Very helpful and welcoming staff run the place and the resteurant, who serves amazing local food.

We had a wonderful stay at Deshan's place. It's just a short four-minute walk to the beach, where we enjoyed a breathtaking sunset. The peaceful surroundings and cozy rooms made our stay truly relaxing. We would happily return anytime and highly recommend this homestay. We also had dinner at their seafood restaurant, where the fish and prawns were absolutely delicious.

The family that runs this place is absolutely helpful and nice. We had so many requests for them (laundry Services, tuktuk rides, lagoon bird watching tour, directions, bus information) and they always tried their best to help us. We always compared prices for the services they provided to other providers and they mostly had smaller rates (e.g. Tuktuk, lagoon tour, laundry) The room was nice, bath was clean, shower was hot, Terrasse comfortable and the price really affordable. Gyombokka beach in walking distance and other beaches only minutes with tuktuk away 10/10, would come again

“Great stay with very good location and war Family!”

Great location as it is very close to both beaches. Very comfortable bed, quite a lot of space as well and quite as it is not on the main road. Internet was working very good! The Family helped me to organize my room so i could work from there! The food was very good, few choices for the breakfast and good prices for lunch and dinner. I had my best chicken rice and curry there! Definetely would stay there again! Thank you!!

More of a hotel than a home stay compared to others homestays in Sri Lanka. Breakfast was very good

What a welcome and beautiful family , thank you so much for a memorable stay . Room was very clean big four poster bed with mosquito net and a large bathroom. Breakfast was abundant and we also stayed for an evening meal grilled prawns and salad was fabulous excellent value for money .

Our room was spacious and well-equipped, featuring a large wardrobe and two bedside tables. The air conditioning worked perfectly, ensuring a comfortable temperature. The bathroom was not only clean but also surprisingly large. The accommodation is about two kilometers from Tangalle, but the nearest beach is within walking distance. The food at the in-house restaurant is especially delicious – highly recommended! We would love to come back.

We liked everything with Deshan homestay. A very friendly family runs the place. We hade our room upstairs, with a private balcony with nice view. When we arrived the AC didn’t work correctly and even if it was late in the evening the owner took care of the problem and solved it, he had to replace it with a new one. Great service 😄. We had our breakfast every morning in the family restaurant, great and yummy with excellent service. We also had our dinner there, well cooked seafood and fish with a delicious salad. We stayed four nights and after two nights, we had a refresh of bed sheets and towels. The homestay is a few minutes walk from the city Goyambokka beach .
