We stayed here for one night before starting the kumano kodo, perfect start. Very good location close to the train station/ bus stop. The owner was so friendly and helpful. She let us keep our bags there for a few days. The guesthouse has a little kitchen and a friendly atmosphere with other guests. Great value for money. Arigato gozaimasu for a great stay.

We highly recommend staying here if you’d want to experience some excellent hospitality and comfortable facilities. The location is really good too, just a short walk from the station.

The stay is conveniently located near the Tanabe station. The stay was super valued for money. If you're going to Kumano, this is good place to spent the day before you depart. The owner even helped me with my luggage delivery to the next accommodation. Owner is super friendly and helpful, and she kept the place very clean.

“Value for money and comfortable place”

Location is a short walk from the Tanabe train station. It is a great place to rest and also start your Kumano Kodo like what i did. Landlady was very very nice and informative. Place was spotless and clean, and as the other guests said going out to the toilet can be an adventure especially at night and in the cold. Those with weak knees may also have issue going up and down the stairs, maybe inform them in advance if you'd prefer to stay on the ground floor. I was also able to leave my luggage whilst i did my hike which was a bonus.

Cute little guesthouse just 5 minutes walk from the train station. Lovely owner who was very helpful in getting our luggage transferred to next destination. Full kitchen should you need.
