“Excellent hostel”
The owner is very helpful. He kindly offered to lift our suitcase to upstairs. Also, the shared bathrooms are clean and well maintained! The owner also reminded us to have dinner early because on that day there were many tourists around the city. Thank you so much!

The location is just good! Very near to kii Tanabe station. Suitable for those want to take a bus for kumano kodo trekking!

Django felt like home. The room was really nice, the bed super comfortable. The owner is very friendly and helpful and it's right across from the train and bus station which is super convenient.

“Excellent stay before Kumano Kodo”
Great location, very close to the izakaya district and Kii-tanabe station, which is convenient for catching the bus to the starting point of the Kumano Kodo. Room was clean and comfortable, with heating and AC. The owner also helped us send our bags to the end point of our hike.

“Great location and great vibes”
Great value for a lovely room with a comfy bed. Host was friendly and polite. Location was super close to the bus/train station and near lots of good restaurants. Loved it!

“Nice hostel with warm friendly staff & owners.”
The owner allowed us to store our luggage before check-in. Also one of our group members forgot to return her keys during check-out but the owner says no issue and that we can return it after our Kumano hike 4 days later. Thank you!

“Great location for Kumano Kodo!”
The location was superb- right across from tanabe station and lots of good restaurants. We were also able to store our luggage while we hike kumano kodo for 200-300¥ a day.
