“Back to the quiet times”

Fairly remote. It is a ranch. To us there's not a lot in the surrounding area. Visit to the Jesus tree. Horse riding is available. Some good beaches if that's your thing. Some nice local eateries. Howler monkeys 50 yards away. Saves paying expensive park fees. Leon the host very responsive. 3 very friendly dogs

“Good stay in a rustic environment with ample space and a good kitchen”

There were three of us who stayed in the three bedroom villa, next to the forest frequented by howler monkeys. The interior is rustic, just as we wanted. We provided our own meals without any problems. The owner Brigit was super helpful, and in addition toi explaining details of how to get around by car for shopping, retaurants etc, she provided the essential help for us to get to the right place to commence our salt water fishing session. This required WhatsApp calls and messaging, which she offered to initiate, rather than us asking.

The property is located in exceptional surroundings as it it immersed in the jungle - it is perfect for a couple of days of peace and quiet after the busy Santa Teresa. The hosts were very sweet and helpful 😊

We loved everything about our stay at Fidelito ranch. We liked it so much we even stayed an extra night! The room is spacious and VERY clean, and the sheets smell so good! Bridgette and Leon are the nicest people and make you feel like family. Leon took us out and my son got to see their horses and cows, which he loved. They are a wealth of knowledge and willing to help with anything. The beach is a quick 10 min drive away, and you still get to be in the jungle and hear howler monkeys and other wildlife. I would come back and visit again 100%

“We will be back and will stay longer”

Great value for your travel dollar (or Colones) We loved staying there for the convenience to the local area yet privacy in the hills. We will return for a longer visit with our wonderful hosts, Brigette and Leon.The nights were alive with the sounds of animals and insects and a beautiful night sky. Apparently we are not unusual in turning off all thee lights and sitting on the deck at night.

“Really nice and relaxing place!”

We were upgraded to a private room with outside kitchen and dining/hang out area which was greatly appreciated since we had two small children. We loved it and even added another night to our stay, 4 nights total. It was so much fun to listen and look for the howler monkeys in the next trees - but we also saw many birds just from our place in the hammocks. Hosts were really nice and made sure all our needs were met. Highly recommended!

Fidelito ranch is one of a kind experience. Brigitte and Leon are absolutely wonderful hosts. We loved the peacefulness, the wildlife (loads of monkeys living on the trees outside of our room!), surrounded nature. Guided horse riding with Brigitte and Leon was a cherry on a cake! One of the best experiences we’ve ever had. Our toddler loved the horses and the dogs too. The room was spacious and very clean. Both, Brigitte and Leon were very helpful and we’ve enjoyed our chats a lot. We’ve travelled for five weeks in Costa Rica and the time we had at Fidelito ranch will always stay in our hearts.

It was the nicest place we've stayed in since arriving to Costa Rica over a month ago. Hot water in all sinks and shower, peaceful environment, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable furniture, friendly and helpful hosts, good layout, great geographic location.

Everything! Léon was a great host - unfortunately Bridgette was not around as we would have loved to meet her. Room was great, location amazing, Everything was spot on. When we left Léon even drove us to the bus stop to get to Cobano, when we realised the bus has been missed, he generously dropped us off in Cobano to to continue on our travels! Top man 😀.

“Perfect hideway for those who need some rest and nature”

A very nice hideaway in the middle of the forrest. We were given a cottage with two hammocks and an outside kitchen which was very cool! There was warm water in the shower and everything was really clean. The A/C was appreciated and silent. So was the fan. The owners were nice and even suggested a tour of the property during which we learnt a lot about local trees and nature in general! Thanks again! Also, we could join an owner car ride to the city to get some groceries and beach time which was greatly appreciated.

We stayed in the two bedroom bungalow that is quite separate and the terrace is very private. The whole place is very quiet and peaceful. We had the additional breakfast on two days and enjoyed it. We were comfortable and slept well. Bridget and Leon are great hosts. We were able to take our dogs with us and they enjoyed their stay also!

Quiet location, close to nature, ideal for bird watchers.

We had a great stay, hosts where amazing and we went for a beautiful horse ride. We loved the room, very spacious for 2 plus baby, the outdoor patio had morning and evening sun through the trees. Would definitely come back when we’re in the area again.

Very nice place, a lot of room inside, cosy design, huge bathroom, private yard sourunded by very nice tropical forest. A lot of space for parking. We got very helpful adivces form Brigitte and Leon, regarding the best routes, so we can avoid bad roads towards Santa Teresa or Montezuma beaches.
