Hotel In the Shade is set 5 minutes' walk from Tamarindo Beach and 12 km from Playa Conchal. “A perfect stay”
Dear Magi, dear Sandra, and dear housekeeping team, thank you so much for your attentive and warm service. I felt very comfortable at Hotel Shade. The hotel is ideal for solo travelers as well as couples. It’s just a few steps from Tamarindo village and close to the beach, yet very quiet. I’ll miss the delicious, varied breakfast for a long time to come. The pool is large enough to swim a few laps while watching the monkeys swinging through the nearby palm trees. The room was nice and clean. There was good air-conditioning and comfortable bed. The pool area was also very nice. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel had free parking area for clients. The location was good. There was good breakfast available for extra cost and free coffee or tea.

There’s so much that’s good about this hotel, but I rate it highest on its staff! Such wonderful people. Shoutout to Sandra for being such a wonderful hostess. It’s always nerve wracking to travel solo (especially for your bday) but this hotel is a wonderful place to meet new people and in a pretty great location too.

“The best adult hotel ever.”
Piece and quite. The owners are just wonderful people and so is the staff. I stayed at another awefull hotel and moved here. This hotel saved my trip, before flying home. I cannot write enough GOOD and NICE things about adult hotel. They took such good care of me. Arranged tours. Kept me informed on whattsapp with restaurants to eat ect. I will recommed this adult hotel 200% to everyone. I would come again. Shops and restaurants are only 5 min. away and still nice and quiet place to stay and sleep. I had such a nice room on the first floor and also used the swimmingpool. I loved staying here. Again, the staff was very helpful and nice and the owners too.

Great walkable location in the heart of Tamarindo close to all amenities and the beach. Exceptional staff and very friendly owners. The pool is a great spot to relax after a day in the sun. Excellent breakfast served on site.
