Great location. Walking distance to The beach and center of Tamarindo. Lots of amenities. We particularly loved the possibility of using bikes to move around Tamarindo. I also used the surf boards available for guests. Each house I swell equipped and specious. The swimming pool is enough to chill. I recommend this place!

This boutique apartment was even better than the photos. Lovely four apartments in gorgeous setting. Pool and garden area was stunning and the apartment was beautifully appointed. Easy walk to beach and into town where all the restaurants and shops were. Ubers were a breeze to organise to go to night tours of turtles This is one of the best places we have been staying in and we have been travelling all over the world for the past 18 months. It was also great to be able to have our own kitchen with no set time to be at breakfast and to make our own meals. Highly recommend

Loved the location - walkable to lots of amenities but far enough from the busyness of Tamarindo. We did not need to rent a car as we did 3 tours and walked to other attractions (beaches, restaurants, spa, etc.)

We loved everything! The property was super clean and had everything you could need. At night it was quiet and peaceful. We loved that the beach chairs and boards were provided, it made our beach trips even better. And as well the bikes made it much easier to reach the centre of Tamarindo. The greenery around gave privacy and the shape of the house provided light even with blinds closed. Lovely place, would highly recommend

We loved the little oasis where the bungalows were with the pool. Miranda and Norman were super helpful and communicative. It’s on the quieter end of the beach area which we liked but easy to drive / walk / scoot into more central area too.

“Wonderful and peaceful surrounde by nature”

Excellent stay in a peaceful and quiet area of busy Tamarindo. Surrounded by nature this is place for tranquillity and relaxation in a very busy town overloaded with traffic and tourists. It met our needs for a place which is embedded in a natural setting. The apartments are beautifully arranged to provide privacy. They have a modern design and are well equipped. The landscaping gives you the feeling to be in the middle of the rainforest. It provides bikes for free, surfing and beach equipment and the owners are very helpful und responsive (even helped me to solve a personal issue).

The property was very clean, modern and chic. The owners were very quick to respond to any issue and accommodating. Great place to relax and lovely poolside furniture to enjoy the pool. We got to use bikes as well which are offered for free to guests and ride around. They had some good recommendations for tours and restaurants in the area.

Stayed in the two bedroom bungalow for 8 nights (two couples) - what a treat! Great location in Playa Langosta with a beach, a couple of restaurants and a supermarket, and just a short walk into Tamarindo. The bungalows were super private, with only 12 adults staying at one time and due to surrounding vegetation not overlooked. The pool is small but perfect for a dip to cool down. The rooms are clean and spacious, with a good supply of towels. Beds comfy and good wardrobe storage. The living area had everything you could have needed and more. The hosts are really informative sending information via WhatsApp before you arrive and also available if you require help or support with anything once on the complex. Would definitely recommend ⭐️

We had an amazing stay at this spacious bungalow! It had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable visit. The place was quiet and spotless, with a huge bed and a fully equipped kitchen perfect for making breakfast. The location is ideal—just a few minutes’ drive from Tamarindo center and the beach, yet far enough to enjoy peaceful nights away from the crowds.

I love the location. We were close to everything but still secluded enough to feel like a true getaway. The property was clean and our hosts were beyond accommodating and provided us enough resources to truly make our stay. I would definitely stay here again!

We loved the peaceful atmosphere and the grounds had beautiful flowers that are in full bloom. Favela Chic is a small property with 5 bungalows. It has the privacy and personalization you seek in an AirBNB but with hotel amenities like house keeping upon request, and they even supply you with shampoo and soaps. We loved our stay.

“Great bungalow in Tamarindo”

The location was perfect, away from the busier areas, but within walking distance to those areas and to the beach. So a nice and quiet location. All communication with the host was through WhatsApp, making it very easy, and a bunch of info was sent prior to arrival. Additionally, the host was able to accommodate an earlier check-in as well as a later check-out, which was really helpful and very much appreciated. If I'm ever back in Tamarindo, I would consider returning to Favela Chic.
