Wow. What a totally wonderful experience my husband and I had here on our honeymoon. The location is stunning: connected but remote. The tents are gorgeous: comfy beds with great A/C or heating. The food is unbeatable: the BBQs and the breakfast picnics are divine and everything is so well thought through. The staff and service are top notch. There's a sauna, a bar till lights out, stairs down to a private beach.

The location and view was lovely, although it is a bit of a hike to get to the tents so not good if you have heavy luggage or struggle with steep steps. If going to Naoshima Island, this is a good option for accommodation - short bus trip to the ferry which is just near the train station. A taxi back from the ferry is also very reasonably priced. Beds were comfortable, pillows were very uncomfortable and the facilities were very clean. The food supplied was the same both nights (pescatarian gratefully accommodated), and campers need to be ok with cooking their own food on the Japanese style BBQ. This was fine for us but maybe not everyone. Listening to the waves at night whilst getting to sleep was very relaxing.

The breakfast was lovely. Each day it was something different, croissants and bagels, or french toast. It was all paired with a salad, some fruit, yogurt and delicious soup to start the day. It all came in a basket with a mat and a small table for you to picnic by the beach. The location is beautiful. The tents overlooking the ocean with the boats coming and going, plus the view of the islands connected by the bridged. Fantastic place for a getaway.

Absolutely magical experience staying here! Beautiful glamping experience. Gorgeous views of the coast and surrounding mountains, comfortable beds, spacious tent, good working air conditioning and heating within the tent. The provided BBQ dinner was delicious as well as the breakfast (which was different both days of or stay). A beautiful peaceful place in Japan. Easy to access via public transport. We took a direct bus from Okayama Station to the Marine Hote (takes about 90 mins and costs 1000 Japanese yen) l and walked along the water for 5 or so minutes. Staff had limited English but used a translation device to communicate so no issues with communication. There's a bar on site to order drinks. Perfect stay for a family of 4 (we had two kids ages 2.5 and 4.5 years old) At night the staff also sets up a bonfire for you!

The ambience was beautiful. Loved the evening meal cooking. Plenty of food and organised well.

We arrived with the bus after a long day in Naoshima and were thrilled with our glamping experience! The tent offered a stunning ocean view and was well-organized and clean, complete with a real bed, blankets, air conditioning, flippers, and towels. We enjoyed the sauna, and both breakfast and dinner were delicious. I highly recommend staying for at least one night!!

A remarkable location- peaceful after busy days in Japan 🇯🇵

Really lovely place to stay. It is a shame there are big tankers in the bay. And the festoon lighting looks extremely pretty but makes the tents quite light through the night. A good base for Naoshima.

The glamping promise was fully met. Luxury tent with normal beds, the prepared BBQ at the balcony (!!!) under the tent and the dinner and breakfast. And not to forget a great view on the sea and the sound of waves bringing you to sleep. Highly recommended place to book.

The view was amazing and the barrel sauna was an excellent touch. The staff prepare a beautiful breakfast and a really fresh barbecue for you every night with instructions. This was a real highlight and was very interactive and fun.

The staff were amazingly helpful and serviceminded! The food was truly food and the campsite was perfect for a couple of days of relaxation.

It's a lovely location and the BBQ idea and bar were lovely, a welcome change from city hotels. Attentive staff despite some heavy rain they made sure we were ok.

A very charming place. They view over the sea was amazing and the staff very friendly. They did not speak English but we managed fine with Google Translate. Very delicious dinner with plenty of food. Breakfast was fine, though japanese breakfast was a bit hard for us to eat. The beach was with small rocks but it suited fine enough.

“Beautiful Location”

Tentoumi was an incredible spot, and well worth a visit. Having breakfast while surrounded by dragonflies, watching fish leap and eagles fishing in the bay in front of us was priceless. The sea was warm and the cove protected so swimming felt safe. The BBQ dinners were fabulous and the sukiyaki was Oishi 😋. Tsukasa, Shida and Mio were wonderful and helpful hosts. Kojima town for its history of Jeans making in Japan and shopping on "Kojima Jeans Street" is worth a trip, as is the famous Naoshima art island.
