“Very beautiful Japanese home”
the apartment is amazing, if you want a traditional japanese experience this is the place to be. The host is super nice and helpful. The free bikes available are a super must and really fun. For us it was one of the most enjoyable stays of our trip in Japan.

Wonderful traditional Japanese house with spacious rooms and the most friendly, helpful owner & family. They pick us up for the bus stop & we’re so kind to drive us again to the train station at check-out. A great experience!

Fantastic spot to stay as a base for our trip to Naoshima. Great hosts. Picked us up and dropped us back to the train station. Complimentary bikes were great for getting to UnoPort and to dinner

Old house, it smelled a bit musty, but that happens in old houses. Otherwise nice, I only spent one night there.

“Spartan and traditional, with a super helpful host: loved it”
it was a door code, but there was someone on hand to give me the details. The accommodation itself was very traditional and a little spartan but felt very authentic. Tatami mats and screens. The real deal. It was a little old-fashioned in interior design, but clean and none the worse for that. I loved the fact it came with a couple of old school clunky bikes, that I used to go to Naoshima island

Our hosts picked us up at the ferry on arrival and dropped us off at the train station on departure. We had planned to walk so this was much appreciated. The accommodation is in a beautiful old house and overlooks a peaceful inner courtyard garden. There was a Lawson a short walk away and a good restaurant 15 minutes walk away. Loved the pajamas! Arigato!!

This is a wonderful space to stay! The architecture and interior are great, with thoughtful details on everything. And the host is very kind! We had a wonderful time staying there!
