Overview
Klockargården Hotel from 1937 offers tastefully decorated rooms in preserved timber houses surrounded by tranquil gardens. Lake Siljan is 1 km away. The individually decorated rooms at Klockargården are furnished in a style that is typical for the Dalarna region. All include cable TV, a work desk and WiFi access. The in-house restaurant serves traditional dishes based on local produce in a cosy atmosphere. Traditional thin bread is baked in Bagarstugan from 1816, while Nostalgiboden sells local food and old-fashioned sweets. During winter, guests can enjoy sleigh tours around the villages and skating on Lake Siljan. Rättvik town centre is a 15-minute drive away. Free parking is available on site.

Very nice hotell in a beautifull atmosphere. Excellent breakfast, and the 2 persons deluxe room is something to recommend. We are coming back!

“Wonderful time at comfortable resort. Views of the lake and short walk to the lakefront.”
Full breakfast had everything including bacon, eggs and whipped cream for the pancakes. Mari-Ann at front desk is very knowledgeable and helpful.

Location just fantastic with beautiful old buildings set in a wonderful garden. Stunning views over the lake Siljan just across the road. Breakfast was very good quality with a wide assortment of food and beverages.

Historic hotel catering mostly to Swedish and German tastes. Swedish dream exceptional for us but I appreciate it might not be for everyone!

“We were not impressed and will not stay here again.”
The location was good but the room was old and the bathroom was old. It was also very poorly insulated, when the room above us walked or talked we could hear them. The charging for cars was also poor even though they have several chargers. At least two of them were not working
