We stayed at TÄLLBERG-By Traum at the turn of February and March. The cottage is in a very nice location right by the lake. During our stay the lake was completely frozen, which made the scenery even more special. The house itself is perfectly fine – there are no particular luxuries, but the photos accurately reflect reality. We had a very pleasant time and would recommend this place, especially if you are looking for peace and quiet. What I write below does not affect our overall positive impression of the stay, but it may be useful for guests from outside Scandinavia. It’s worth keeping these things in mind when renting accommodation in the north, as the rules and standards can be quite different from other parts of Europe: - Bed linen is not included as standard. You need to bring your own or book it in advance. On the day of arrival it may turn out that no extra sets are available. -Towels are not provided – you need to bring your own. -Additional utility fees (electricity and water) are often charged separately. In this apartment they were included, but very often they are not, and this information is not always clearly visible on Booking. Sometimes it only appears in additional documents sent after booking or at the very bottom of the description in small print that is easy to miss. - Cleaning – in Scandinavia it is very common to pay an extra fee for final cleaning, or, as in this case, to clean the apartment yourself before departure. Someone in another review mentioned that there are many cross-country skiing trails nearby. I didn’t manage to find many, but maybe I was looking in the wrong places or there was already too little snow. In any case, for cross-country skiers I recommend checking the website skidspar.se, where you can find up-to-date information about prepared trails and their current condition (including how many hours ago the status was updated). I recommend choosing larger ski centers, such as the biathlon center in Mora

Location was incredible and the accommodation was very good. The was so peaceful we did not want to leave. The dear that came around in the morning was so moving to my wife,
