Overview
Located in the heart of Tuscany’s Maremma Nature Reserve, Tenuta Agricola dell'Uccellina is surrounded by woods and green countryside, just 5 km from the sea. There are many opportunities for outdoor activities in the Maremma Reserve, including horse riding and hiking. Guests can also visit the local wine producers at Scansano and Morellino. There is a children's play area in the garden, and activities and sessions organised at the farm. Beginner horse riding lessons are also available. The property offers rooms and suites, as well as apartments with kitchnettes, which are located in different buildings around the grounds. The restaurant serves homemade specialities using locally sourced or home grown ingredients, such as organic meat and honey, olive oil and wine. Tenuta Uccellina is located on Italy’s west coast between Florence and Rome. The town of Grossetto is a 20 minute drive away.

“Reality do not match the description and pictures, this property renting rate should be twice less.”
Description of this property is very inaccurate. Pictures do not match reality. It is 2km walk from reception in a lonely place. 20 min drive to nearest restaurant. Very inconvenient. Apartment quite spacious. There are beautiful places to see in distance of 30 min drive.

“Fantastic visit to Parco dell'Uccellina”
We went on extremely low season, the week before Easter. We were the only guests and we really enjoyed. The restaurant serving all farm-to-table food (meat, wine, olive oil) at a reasonable price was an unexpected treat! The proximity to hiking trails and other superb attractions was awesome.

Pictures from Booking.com is far from reality. We were located in separate building in the middle of nowhere, alone in whole building. Car parking 100 m from building in absolute dark. In autumn it is not very pleasant. The surroundings and territory are unkempt and gloomy. Breakfast also is not available.

The location is excellent: it is a farm in the countryside, very nice and quiet. We had a very comfortable suite, which was spacious, perfectly clean and nicely furnished. The breakfast was great, even with tasty cakes and fresh made smoothies. Also the restaurant had very good food and wines. Staff was nice and helpful and gave us lots of tipps and information, where to go and what to do. Hiking into the Maremma park is possible from there and it provides easy access to plenty of beautiful places nearby, but you definitely need a car.

“Unique setting and location”
In the countryside and very quiet with lots of stars. bedroom well renovated but a bit small with three persons. good selection of breakfast foods included. in the Maremma.
