“Very nice villa for staying with friends or family!”

Location was nice. We attended during low-season, so we were the only ones in the complex of villas. Villa was good value for money. Hostess was very helpful. We enjoyed the stay very much.

The only positives were the location and the pool — the house was close to bakeries and supermarkets, situated on a small cliff with a nice view, and the pool was a decent size and clean enough.

Beautiful private location. Very spacious villas with all the amenities you would expect. Outdoor area was stunning. The staff we encountered were absolutely lovely and the communication was great throughout. Very reasonably priced and took a last minute booking for 11 people when our other accommodation cancelled on us 24 hours in advance. Couldn’t fault it

“In desperate need of a refurbishment”

Our bad experience started with me having to chase the owner for a code to get into the key box as I still had not heard anything from them once we landed in Cyprus. The directions to the villa were awful and once we actually arrived in Tala we couldn't find the villa until I read in the small print that it was Villa 2. The number of the villa was on the front of the villa but was very faded. Our first impression was a very stiff front door that you had to shove open as it scraped along the floor! The villa is extremely run down and in desperate need of a refurb. It wasn't clean and all the cupboards reeked of a musky smell. We had to put our clothes away but made sure we left the doors of the wardrobes open as we were concerned our clothes would smell. The bathrooms were really scruffy, the cupboards stank and the mirrors were breaking down as the bottoms of them were black. The shower rail fell down on my head in the upper bathroom. The beds were awful. so uncomfortable and very squeaky. The kitchen was very under stocked and we even had to buy a jug which we left there. How lucky we were that they gave us washing up liquid and 1 tea towel !! Again it was grimy so we did not use the kitchen a lot. The exterior of the villa is in desperate need of a reburb too. I would be ashamed to say I owned this villa and have the audacity to actually charge people to stay there. The pool is very poor. There are hundreds of the mosaic tiles missing and grimy lines at the water level. It is meant to be an infinity pool but it doesn't pour over the edge and the trough that the water is meant to flow into is full of stagnant dirty water !! There were no external bins so when we needed to remove rubbish from the villa we had to locate large skip bins on our travels !! On top of all this we did not see the owners or a representative from the villa at all during our 10 day stay!!! I would under no circumstances recommend or stay at this villa again.

For a week in August this was great value !! Pool was lovely kitchen good location ok yes you need a car but most villas you do 1.6km to restaurants and bakery Supermarket the same all in all a good all round value villa

Very private place to stay. I also liked the restaurants and taverns in the Tala village centre, which were not right next door and we normally used car to reach them, but still close enough - just a few minutes drive from the villa. I find it being a good compromise between staying in a quiet private place with a beautiful view downhill, but have all the facilities close-by.

Nice house with beautiful sunset view! The pool was great for the children. You need a car if you stay here, but we knew it in advance so for us it was exactly what we expected- quiet and secluded. 2 minutes away by car there is a supermarket and a very nice restaurant! Also, the owner was easy to get in contact with through our stay.

Did not stay in original booked advertised Villa. The one photographed & used on the website was changed by host at the last minute (literally whilst on route to Cyprus) due to issues with the swimming pool. Told we were to stay in an identical adjacent villa next door which clearly wasn't identical!! Despite supposed issues with the pool in the original villa, we saw various other visitors stay there, some holding pool parties late into the night, keeping us awake. The substitute Villa that we stayed in had a damaged swimming pool itself (multiple areas of the mosaic tiling missing leaving exposed cement including under the water creating risk of injury to cuts ). We raised this in an email to the host but failed to get any response to these concerns The substitute Villa itself is very tired & dated & in need of investment/ updating (paint peeling off the walls internally etc) Our privacy was also interrupted on several occasions by unannounced visits by various workmen just arriving at the property!! On one occasion early morning we were sitting outside on the patio having breakfast when a man acknowledged us from the bottom of the garden (don't know how he got there) who then proceeded to start cutting the foliage with a chain saw etc. This went on for ages causing us to abandon breakfast & retreat indoors due to all the noise!!) We've visited Cyprus since 2010 & always rented a villa & have always had a great experience until this one. Left feeling mislead about the original villa issues that prevented us staying there & the replacement villa was a very poor substitute, with pool issues of its own, which spoilt our holiday. Definitely not worth the money spent renting & won't return to this venue again

Absolutely loved our stay. The Villa has some really nice views and has all the amenities. Every room in the Villa even had AC. The staff was one of the nicest staff I have encountered. Only good words and emotions after staying there. Also the pool was really nice 👍
