Situated in Aso Kuju National Park of Kuju Plateau, 赤川温泉スパージュ-Spaju features a terrace and hot springs bath. Guests can enjoy the beautiful views of Kuju Plateau while taking a walk in front of the property. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. There is a private open-air bath that can be reserved during specific times. All rooms include a flat-screen TV. Certain rooms feature a seating area where guests can relax. On-site luggage storage is available. Guests can play table tennis at the hotel. Western-style breakfast is served at 08:00 in the morning and dinner is served at 18:00. Dinner consist of traditional Korean cuisine that uses fresh local ingredients. Kurokawa Onsen is a 20-minute drive from 赤川温泉スパージュ-Spaju. Mount Aso, the largest active volcano in Japan, is a 70-minute drive away from the property. Kumamoto Castle is a 2-hour drive away. Fukuoka Airport is approximately 2 hours and 10 minutes away via car.

“Exceptional place to stay”
Beautiful location. Gorgeous outside onsen. Lovely comfy bed. Exceptionally clean. Great Indian restaurant up the road. Yummy breakfast sitting overlooking the paddocks & forest. Great parking.

Lovely spot with a very nice owner! They have two onsens that you can book and use for free, a ping pong table and a great outdoor space. I guess you need a car to get there. They didn't serve dinner but you can use the refridgerator and they sell some drinks, snacks and noodles. We felt very welcome and it was extremely clean. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Clean, modern and very comfortable. The private outdoor onsen is a highlight. Location is slightly out of the way but a great base for hiking Kuju mountains

A lovely hotel spa with the kindest manager who made a great breakfast , helped us out with taxis and accommodated us for an extra night at the last minute when we needed it. I highly recommend.this place. it is also in the most beautiful location near a forest with a great onsen .

“Good hotel in very nice surroundings”
Nice place, friendly host. The hotel is located off the road, in a very green natural environment. Nice views. A good breakfast is served. No meals in the evenings and konbini or other shops are 20km away! They do sell snacks and noodle cups.

It's a beautiful and peaceful spot. The staff was nice and helpful and the spa was great. Very clean place with fun activities to enjoy. Definitely worth the money!

“Get in touch with Aso”
This is a wonderful place to stay if you are nature lover. Both services and breakfast are good. Place and room are clean. The outdoor onset is small but you have your privacy.

“Wonderful”
The host was super kind and helpful during our stay! I would recommend everyone to stay here for at least two nights. The onsen is amazing, the view is spectacular and breakfast is delicious.

“Would go again”
The accommodation is clean and modern, the staff was very friendly and we were able to reserve the onsen for ourselves which was very nice.
