“Great! A good sized, new, comfortable, but not ‘plastic’ apartment in a pretty, interesting, small town.”
This is a cute, stylish, newly built apartment run by lovely people in a cool, interesting, pretty, little town. You can cook, there’s a supermarket around the corner. Takeda is a peaceful place but is vibrant and friendly. Highly recommend at least a couple of nights.

“Our favourite stay in Kyushu”
We had such a lovely stay in a traditional apartment in Taketa. The host was lovely and thoughtful, which made the experience feel really special and authentic. A beautiful place with such warm hospitality.

“Taketa is worth a visit if you enjoy Japanese culture and history.”
It is a clean, comfortable two room apartment right in the middle of Taketa so it was easy to stroll around the historic town. The apartment is above a restaurant in a street with traditional Japanese buildings and shopfronts. Our host gave us information about local restaurants etc and a free pass to one of the local onsens. We came by car and there is cheap paid parking about a minute walk away.

“Really enjoy our stay”
The apartment is spacious for a family. Kitchen is a bonus. Beds are comfy. Owner is very friendly and offered us vegies and other stuffs. We love the city, enjoying our walk. The location is perfect with easy access to supermarket and bus stops. My kid love the coffee and macha making.

Taketa Machi Hotel is a 1-bedroom apartment conveniently located in the heart of Taketa. Artsy Japanese style apartment is fully equipped with properly working AC and kitchenware. The host was very helpful and incredibly nice. Also, Taketa town is absolutely charming especially during sakura blooming. Overall, we had a very, very pleasant stay, so I definitely recommend this place.

“Taketa is a precious little town”
It was a beautiful property nestled atop a nice restaurant serving local produce. The flat was bright and spacious, it was incredibly quiet at night. Our best stay out of 18 properties we’ve stayed at over a month in Kyushu.
