“Spacious accommodation in a really convenient location”

The property is spacious with a big upstairs room with beds and a very comfortable sitting area. Downstairs is a well equipped kitchen with a big dining room table. It was great to spread out. The location is fantastic being close to the train, the Main Street and other places of interest. It is within a moments walk of restaurants. The owners have thought of everything to make the stay easy and comfortable.

The location was perfect. The house itself was so wonderful. It had everything we needed and the decoration was so lovely. It had all the kitchen equipment you would need to cook a meal if you want, there is a big kitchen space to eat your meals and there is a super cosy place in the bedroom to watch tv and chill out in the evening. The breakfast offering was super fresh and delicious - but the hosts were probably the best bit - very lovely and welcoming!

The property smelled excellent when I stepped in, immediately I felt relax. The aircon was already turn on to the perfect temperature, I known then everything will be fine because of the thought that was put in on behalf of the customer. I cooked dinner in the kitchen with items I bought from nearby supermarket, the kitchen was well equipped. The bed was very comfy and I slept throughout the night.

The hosts go above and beyond to provide everything you could possibly need and more! The breakfast provided was lovely and the check in messages were a lovely surprise so you knew you always had someone to contact if needed. We stayed with kids and would really recommend this place for its more traditional aspect and also the space to enjoy as a family rather than a hotel room. The beds were super warm and comfortable! The location is really convenient for all areas of Takayama.

Very cosy with plenty of space for three adults. Close to the station and all other interests. Host was easy to contact and got back quickly, very friendly. House was clean and had plenty of kitchen equipment.

The traditional style and furnishings paired with modern facilities were fantastic

The room was very spacious, and the hosts were very welcoming, giving us gifts to fold origami with. The faculties were all new, and the overall house was very beautiful.

“Perfect”

Perfect location close to old Town, river and markets, yet not too far from station. Wonderful host. Beautiful restored Machiya with amazing attention to detail. Quiet area, yet not so quiet that you can talk freely in normal voice. Super comfy beds and top class tech.
