“A warm, charming traditional house with exceptional hospitality and every comfort”
This stay was absolutely outstanding. The traditional house in the center of Takayama was warm, charming, and beautifully furnished, with every comfort and convenience provided. It was wonderfully heated when we arrived in the evening, which made it feel immediately welcoming. The owner was incredibly helpful, storing our luggage before check-in and assisting us with forwarding our bags to our next destination. Truly exceptional hospitality — I would book this place again without hesitation. The hosts were incredibly kind and professional.

“Spacious, Comfortable, Excellent Location”
The property is very huge, clean & very close by to the Takayama station. The check-in was very smooth with pre-hand instructions sent by the host so did not face any issue in reaching / accessing the house. It is situated right on the main road which turns out to be very convenient with convenience stores & restaurants in close by vicinity. Being on the main road however makes it prone to some street noise however not something which really troubles. The facilities are good with all modern appliances. The beds, mattresses, toiletries & other supplies provided are excellent & good quality. Didn't really find anything to complain about. Completely recommended for large families / groups.

“Just lovable accommodation! Hope we could stay longer next time!”
Very traditional Japanese house and spacious. Kids love it! When we face some issues the staff always help and response very fast! We could also store our luggage in another branch of K’s house so we could still enjoy the day without carrying luggage around, after checking out.

Traditional home stay. Visited in Winter with snow and minus 8 overnight but the villa was very warm. Generous bedrooms & living areas & 2 toilets which was great for family of 6.

It is a beautiful traditional Japanese house (tatami mats, futon beds and paper sliding doors) with modern amenities such as AC, a modern kitchen and toilet/laundry facilities. It's an easy walk to both the train station and Takayama's old town.
