Overview
Fujiiso offers accommodation in the Yamada Onsen Area in Takayama Village of Kamitakai District in Nagano Prefecture. There is a shared lounge and gift shop at the property. “A peaceful, private retreat in nature.”
Beautiful location, care taken to ensure the privacy and comfort of guests, delicious and creative menu, relaxing and therapeutic onsen, natural scenery from every window, really nice staff. Unexpected experiences in the vicinity, including a big waterfall that you can walk behind, a colourful nature trail close to Fujiiso, the lovely town of Obuse.

Nice Onsen (which contrasts with the old uncomfortable bathrooms in your bedrooms). Nice service even if a bit too rigid old style.

We absolutely loved the overal experience staying at this hotel. All staffs came out to the front to welcome us at check in and they immidiately wiped all of our luggages after unloading. I love how the staffs are always offering help and being so polite and friendly. The facility is well maintained and hygiene is at good standard. I would definitely re-visit this hotel in my future trips to Takayama.

Everything that Fujuiso offered to us。 The location was scenic and peaceful。 The property was clean and comfortable。 The experience of bathing in the onsen was wonderful。 The staff was friendly。 And the dinner and breakfast were delicious.
