“First impression was good, actually experience not so much.”
The bed looked nice. I had my own kettle and a few cups in my room. It was close to Lake Biwa. The room was clean.

It was a nice experience staying in authentic Japanese style rooms, there’s not much around but we knew that before booking it so it wasn’t a surprise. The place had bicycles to take for free but inconveniently on the day of our arrival they took them all for maintenance.

“Great accommodation”
Great room..Suited us perfectly. Well laid out and facilities were great. Good value for money. Loved the little sitting room for coffee in the morning with a view .

Basically has the whole place to myself, unsure if I was allowed to use the kitchen as it appeared to be a restaurant and a bar (but seemingly abandoned?). Bedroom was roomy and comfy.

“We just received a number to enter the block. Security of the building is a concern.”
The place does not have anything inside the room. The shared kitchen are very messy and no electric devices like microwave are working....

“Quiet countryside”
Huge house in the middle of the countryside with lots of rooms. We came when it was mostly empty so it was quiet and the room was comfortable.
