The hosts were very kind! The restaurant serves delicious food! very nice beach nearby and a small restaurant with takeaway food.

The location was perfect! The kitchen was well equipped for 5 persons. The balcony has a large table for eating outdoors. The flat is well ventilated.

Beautiful, quite place to stay. Near to the beach. The equipment is not the newest but that didn't bother us.

“Beautiful Seychelles stay”

Amanda as a host is extremely accommodating and helpful. That makes a huge difference to a place of stay. Of course the staff is great! The facilities are really good. The best thing about the place is, it is literally 3 minutes from a fabulous and quaint beach—almost like a private beach. We had some of the best times in Seychelles here.

Captain's Villa is a tastefully decorated place reflecting the authentic style of the isalnd. The wonderful Anse Forbans beach is only a few steps away from the villa. We also enjoyed the surrounding lush greenery with the lovely sound of the birds. Amanda, her family and her team were all very welcoming, kind and helpful. We received lots of useful information, recommendations and nice maps to explore Seychelles. My Mum loved her beautiful flower bouquet made for her birthday. We would like to say a big thank you again for everything, we had a very enjoyable stay! We wish this great family-run business to continue flourishing.

“Good place to explore the south of the island”

Had just a short stay during our last 2 days in Seychelles. We found a welcoming place, with a very clean room (hotel-style, as we didn’t book self catering option). One of the most beautiful beach of Mahe literally across the street (pictured). Amanda and staff members were welcoming and helped us during our stay. Bus stop nearby, but a car would be needed for groceries and such. 25 min drive to airport. Shuttle service provided by staff for 50€

“Going to be back to this wonderful place”

A lovely small hotel with a beautiful garden, just steps away from the stunning Anse Forbans beach across the road. Staying here feels more like visiting friends who truly care about your comfort and know how to cook delicious food. Amanda and her husband prepared local fish for us in different ways — each dish was absolutely tasty and full of flavor. Breakfast is thoughtfully served: guests can choose three options from the menu, and a fresh selection of local fruits is brought to your table first. Amanda was also very helpful in arranging a rental car and recommending great places to explore around the island. This place has a warm, welcoming atmosphere — a perfect choice if you want to feel at home in paradise.

Captain's Villa is a fantastic place to stay! The villa itself is beautiful, and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast provided was excellent. What truly stood out was the exceptional hospitality of the owner, Christine. Our group was quite large, consisting of four families totaling 11 people, and Christine was incredibly kind and helpful in assisting us with organizing our stay. Her willingness to go the extra mile made our trip so much smoother. The beach in front of Captain’s Villa is wonderdul. Highly recommended!

“Clean and friendly”

I liked that it was clean, comfortable, friendly staff and friendly atmosphere. It was 2 min flat walk to a lovely beach, safe for swimming as it is inside of a reef. It's off from the more busy parts of Mahe so the road didn't have much traffic. Good price.

We were greeted very friendly. They gave us a refreshing drink. They immediately settled us comfortably in the rooms. The beach is right in front of the house. Incredible beauty, crystal clear water, millions of fish at the first step into the water. Soft and clean sand, green coconut palms, it is difficult to describe in words. You have to see it for real. I highly recommend staying there for at least a week. Within short distances by car you can find many beautiful bays, like this one. It is incredible. you fall into another world.

“A blissfully sunny stay”

We stayed in “Swan” which is the 2 bedroom villa. It was a beautiful 2 floor apartment. Aircon in both bedrooms 2 bathrooms and a small but functional kitchen with electric stove. Convenient location we had a car and drove all round the island but there is also a bus stop about 100m from gate. You could watch sunrise on the beach with is approx 50mins from apartment. Wonderful staff and hosts extremely helpful and full if local knowledge
