I loved this hostel. The location, the staff and owners, how clean and comfortable it was. For a hostel an absolute joy. Everything you need is closed by. There's a lot of charm to Taiping. Don't let it pass you by. It's a beautifully run and quaint hostel. Everything is spotlessly clean. Very safe and convenient. Aircon, free coffee and tea and a nice quiet lounge area.

“Beautiful retro-looking hostel within a city with almost no tourists .”

- one of the most beautiful places I stayed during my travels (but depends on if you like retro and old stuff! Like a fantastic museum) - the lady working there was super friendly and helpful - you have the possibility to making tea/coffee - bed was comfy and AC worked well - everything was clean

The warm hospitality of staff and good location

Very clean room and toilet. Beautiful interior design feels like an antique house. Nice little self-serving cafe area at the bottom floor. Very food service overall from friendly owner too.

A truly beautiful place to stay with a lovely owner who is happy to help with sightseeing plans. (Kuala Sepetang with its mangrove forests is definitely worth a visit!)

Good location, helpful and kind staff, clean and nice rooms, good price. I stayed longer because I felt really comfortable and enjoyed visiting Taiping.

Lin was very friendly and helpful, passing on information from other guests on how to get to places, that made it so much easier for me. Perfectly clean, free coffee, central location, peaceful and quiet. Front door situation was easy enough - everything obvious :)

A very 'homey' place to spend the night. The accommodation is located right smack in the middle of town.

Very nice and friendly staff, and it was located in a very central good location. Is also very close to good local food options.

“Wonderful stay in a quaint hostel”

The most wonderful people that run this bijou hostel. Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, and, if you remember to turn the switch, plenty of hot water. Had an expected power cut and fans and lights were given and candles for the toilets. So quaint. Because of this and the local people Taiping is my favourite place so far in Malaysia.
