The stay at the InterContinental Taif was a genuinely memorable and very positive experience, and it is an easy hotel to recommend for both leisure and short getaways in Taif. Arrival and room From the first moment, the welcome at reception was warm, professional, and efficient, setting a pleasant tone for the whole stay. The room was very clean and well equipped, with everything needed for a comfortable night, and while the style is a bit old‑fashioned, it actually added a charming, retro character rather than causing any inconvenience. Facilities and wellness The hotel offers spacious, luxurious facilities, and the overall atmosphere in the public areas feels calm and upscale. The indoor swimming pool was a highlight of the stay, very enjoyable and relaxing, though the hot tub temperature was noticeably too high to sit in comfortably for more than a few seconds, which is the only real point that could be improved. Breakfast experience The breakfast buffet was outstanding, with a wide variety of fresh and high‑quality options that made the morning feel special. There were freshly pressed orange juices, detox juices, complimentary coffee specialties, and a live cooking station for items like eggs and pancakes, which created a nice, personalized touch to start the day. Service and special touches Service throughout the stay was excellent, and a big shout‑out goes to Ajeet and Judelyn, who truly made the experience feel VIP by checking several times if anything was needed. The most touching moment was when they surprised the table with a piece of chocolate cake simply to say thank you for being their guests, a small gesture that left a long‑lasting positive impression.

“Comfortable rooms and friendly staff”

Great staff, the receptionist (Abrar) was very nice, friendly and professional. She was able to provide us with comfortable solutions for our big family. Room we're very comfortable. Dinner and lunch had different options so everyone enjoyed their meals. We had special needs child and the staff helped us with the transportation.

“Great weekend in Taif”

The hotel is looking a little dated and the smell of fresh paint was overwhelming - but this is sign of good things to come. Concierge staff were excellent. Particular praise for Amar Rubei. He helped us with excellent recommendations and a friendly smile!
