Overview
Set on the banks of the River Po, Tenuta Ca' Zen is an 18th-century villa in the Delta del Po Regional Park. It offers horse-riding stables, and rustic-style rooms with free Wi-Fi. Rooms at the Ca' Zen have relaxing views of the garden. Each includes air conditioning and a fully equipped private bathroom. Homemade cakes and jams feature at breakfast, along with cheeses, cold meats and cereals. You can enjoy breakfast on the terrace in fine weather. “Wonderful stay in a 17th century villa”
Tenuta Ca’ Zen is a magical place in Taglio di Po. We couldn’t believe how beautiful it was as we drove into the estate. It was built by the aristocratic Zen family in the 1700s, and has been carefully restored. The sense of history is magnificent and the staff are lovely.

“Relax, go with the flow of nature, eat and drink well!!!”
A beautiful, natural, relaxed environment. My daughter and I spent 3 days by the pool (clean and perfect water temperature). We loved the quiet, the atmospheric buildings, being surrounded by nature (especially the many swallows), and watching the horses walk by. Simple, tasty, home-cooked breakfast, cake and bread, and one evening we dined on local meat, cheeses, and salad on the terrace at the front of the house. The staff were kind and thoughtful and met our every request. The small number of guests makes for a friendly atmosphere. We didn't have a car and instead enjoyed the 30-to-40-minute walk alongside the river to Taglio di Po for dinner and to stock up on sun cream (I would recommend the walk even if you have a car). This was also a great route for my morning run and cycling. Amazing views and birds to be heard along the way.

Tenuta Ca Zen is one of those rare gems of a retreat. Perfect for couples not necessarily people on business! No corporate uniforms, receptions bland furniture etc . Ca zen is a tucked away beauty in the middle of Italian arable land. Beautiful building , shutters on windows, terraced farm house, massive oak beams , stone floors ,stone roof, really big doors, lots of history run by a charming and very welcoming team. The room i had was very well appointed, with a very comfortable bed and clean and tidy ,spacious area with traditional furniture in keeping with the building. Woke up to mists and fog which added to the charm , but for summer time i suspect this place is even better. I can't wait to visit again and see the seasons unfold at this beautiful location and building.
