“Unique and traditional mountain accommodation”

Nestled in the mountains, this place is incredibly scenic and peaceful with great views of the valley, and walking trails nearby to explore. Very unique and traditional feeling and Mohammed is very kind and makes a delicious kefta tagine. Rooms had nice natural light.

Lovely friendly greeting, the room was comfortable and beautifully decorated. Such a great location and very peaceful and quiet. We ate dinner here which was fabulous on the roof terrace, but inside a shelter as it was cold. Very cosy and Moroccan feel. We managed the walk in motorbike gear and carrying the bike panniers and although a bit rough in places, it's worth the 200m walk

Relaxing atmosphere in a wonderful valley. The Maison Traditionnelle is a place full of charm. We arrived late and Mohammad offered us a warm welcome. He made us feel like home and let us choose our bedroom. Big thanks for the early breakfast he served to make sure we had a full belly for our long trip. Definitely a nice place to stay!

Fabulous location on the outskirts of an oasis and in the midst of traditional buildings older than 700 years! This was by far the most spectacular place we stayed at on this trip.

This place is all about the views. Really gorgeous location. Muhammid, the manager, is warm and very accommodating. Fresh orange juice and fresh goats cheese for breakfast were nice but no extra touches. Basically bread, cheese and jam/alloy and it was exactly the same every morning. Some surprise with eggs or pancakes or fresh fruit or avocado would have been lovely.

“Wonderful stay in the peaceful Ammelne valley”

Muhammad and Rachid were very kind, welcoming, and helpful hosts. We got a lift to and from the CTM bus on arrival and departure. The guest house is set in the most peaceful location in the Ammelne valley, with gorgeous views from the terrace. . The food (breakfast and dinner) was excellent. Lovely walks along the valley or up a bit higher for views. The Maison Traditionelle museum (next door) gives you a fascinating insight into the home life of a traditional Amazigh family. Be aware that the guest house is around a 15-minute drive from Tafraout, so if you don't have your own transport, you'll need taxis or other rides in and out of town or beyond. You can hire a car in Tafraout for day trips - well worth it - and much cheaper than an organised tour.

Lovely house in this peaceful village . Everything was fine and we had great stay. Everything was clean and as you would want it, and the breakfast was great.
