“Should have read the other reviews before booking”

On paper, it ticks all the boxes but on a very superficial level. Ok, clean and decent.

I was pleasantly surprised at how clean, quiet, spacious & comfortable this place was

It was pet friendly and close to the ferry.

Plenty of free parking. The bed was very comfortable. The owners were very nice to deal with. The close proximity to the ferry port.

The location of the hotel is good. Helpful staff. Good clean room. Clean bed, nicely arranged. Good toileries. Ample parking. Breakfast was not included with our stay. There are many good restaurants close to this location. There is also a breakfast restaurant on this site. But we did not eat breakfast at their restaurant as we were up and about. There is a grocery- convenience store near by we picked our breakfast requirements from there.

It was close to the ferry terminal that connected to QC-138. The beds and pillow were comfortable.

Location and views were great.

My fault for booking late and as a result had to pay a quad room ( 2 beds) and inflated price for the 2 of us. Not worth that price but you are limited with what is available in a small town and large tourist population.

This is definitely a motel, not a hotel. It has all the basics to have a good night sleep and the room I got was exactly like in the photos. There is a fridge but there is no microwave in the room. There is a hairdryer (look in the cabinet under the sink). The location is fantastic in my opinion, yes, it's on the busy road that leads down to the ferry, but that means there isn't constant traffic, since cars line up and turn off the engine. At night there was hardly any traffic at all (low season though, to be fair). The view is great, beyond the ferry one can see the fjord, behind the motel a beautiful river. To get to the town there's there's two options: a lovely trail (with a panoramic optional detour which I highly recommend) or just walk on the road, it's 10 minutes away on foot at most.

Smooth check in, even that we were late. Location is close to ferry and 15min walk from the centre.

Our reservation was not met as requested. Finally put in a crappy room at the back!

Localisation was great just a few steps away from the cruise departure.
