“Spotlessly clean Ideally located Fabulous hosts and breakfast”

The owners have built a beautiful property. Each suite of rooms is private. We were in the spacious loft, with a huge bed and a lovely lounge and bedroom and a well appointed kitchen. The entire property is spotless with shiny wooden floors. The thoughtful design includes high level insulation and clever use of space. The property is in a quiet part of this pretty coastal village, with safe off-street parking right outside the door. Guylain cooked us a sensational breakfast with many ingredients coming from her own gardens. The rest were sourced locally. The hosts were a font of local knowledge- tourist highlights and restaurant recommendations.

Guylaine and Bruno have a wonderful Inn. Luxurious and comfortable at the same time. Guests have access to a living room, deck, and patio which all have great views of the Saguenay Rooms are extremely comfortable and well appointed. The bed was luxurious. Breakfasts are gourmet and they use local ingredients and even those which they've prepared from their own property. About a 10 minute walk into town. Highly recommended

“A Great Place to Use as a Base for Exploring Tadoussac and Area.”

This is a lovely bed and breakfast and the owners have used their skills, talents and previous work experience to anticipate every need of their guests. The house is well laid out, being purpose built by the owners, and the handsome furniture in the suites was made by the owner, which is impressive. We appreciated their recommendations for a couple of restaurants in town and walks we should take to see different views of the St. Lawrence. Breakfast was simple (juice, coffee, bagel with cream cheese, smoked salmon) and sufficient - good fuel for a day of sightseeing. There is a nice backyard to enjoy the views over town and to mingle with other guests. Many thanks for a lovely evening in Tadoussac! We hope we can return one day for a longer stay.

“Exceptional choice for the area.”

A beautiful, tranquil guesthouse within walking distance to central Tadoussac, with warm and welcoming hospitality, from the delicious breakfast to the many thoughtful touches in our pristine and spacious room. The two nights we stayed here were a highlight of our St Lawrence driving tour, with the bonus of a humpback sighting off the town dock.

Easy to find, hosts very friendly and welcoming. Their house was immaculate all the furniture and the house were handmade by Bruno. Bed was comfortable and lovely breakfast. Views over the fjord were amazing. Definitely one of the best ever accommodations we have ever stayed in. Superhosts. Thank you.

My stay at Au Cachalot Caché was absolutely wonderful. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and the hotel was top-notch. Everything was well-organized and prepared, and we felt safe and secure throughout our stay. Guylaine et Bruno are such kind and welcoming hosts, always ready to assist with anything we needed. Their guidance on local tourism was invaluable, and they provided us with helpful tips for exploring the area. The breathtaking views, combined with the warm, friendly, and professional atmosphere, made the experience even better. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, like something you'd find in a luxury hotel, and it felt like we were part of the family. My only regret is not having more time to stay and enjoy this beautiful place longer.

Guylaine and Bruno made our experience in Tadoussac even more incredible. We felt like home in the amazing and cozy room and had a great time with our hosts and the other guests while enjoying delicious breakfasts. They provided as well all the information we needed and great tips of what to do and where to go to better see Tadoussac and surroundings. I can't recommend them enough.

Very friendly owners of the place. All was well explained and the room was of a good size and clean. Nice outside area. Good breakfast in the morning included. We were able to leave the car whilst exploring Tadoussac. Bruno gave some suggestions for dinner and made a reservation. I would recommend.
