“Friendly, chatty host. Delicious and filling food. Safe and welcoming village. Stunning views.”
This accommodation is found in a beautiful village in the mountains. All the residents were friendly, especially Abdelaziz, the host. We were provided with extra blankets, a shower with warm water, and an excellent dinner and breakfast. The room is big, well decorated and has a fire in the front room area. The beds are comfortable and the building is very secure.

“Kind hearted hosting in a beautiful and basic guest house near the highest village in N Africa”
Abdul Aziz is a gem, a wonderful host who took us on a beautiful walk to a high waterfall up the valley, and then through the back paths of local villages where we could appreciate the orchards, smiles, and feeling welcomed by his community including delicious meals of tagine and couscous that kept our hungry teenagers very well fed. We appreciate that recovering from the earthquake has not been easy and it was great to feel we were supporting Abdul and his wider community and family. We ended up driving our hire car to his place, rather than walking from Imlil. It is an OK road mostly that way - better more consistently paved from Asni which we took on the way back ... suggest this approach better for an experienced driver comfortable with heights and hairpin bends ... once there, there is a lovely view from the terrace and plenty of blankets to stay warm in the basic room. The warm shower was welcome too. It's a good idea to.give Abdul good notice if you intend to have dinner as he needs to get ingredients for numbers (we only booked the day before and didn't confirm dinner till we arrived that probably wasn't ideal.from.his point of view but he'd never say that:))

“Great place, great food, great people”
Amazing location. Great rooftop relaxation area. Fresh fruit from the garden. Staff were lovely, as were the other guests. The owner cooked us a huge tajine for dinner, and it was delicious.

This Gite is located in an amazing area, full of small amazigh towns you can visit just walking. I actually walked from Imlil to here and it took me 2h30min, I recommend a lot this hike. The owner was super friendly. Even i arrived early in the morning he came to check me in, offered me tea and cooked an amazing traditional dinner. The rooftop has an amazing views, specially the night sky! 100% recommended.

“Skip busy Imlil and experience nature and berber culture at it's best”
Abdelaziz is a genuinely funny and friendly guy. He took best care of me, providing dinners that could have filled a whole family. The breakfast is plentiful as well, so I didn't need a lunch really. Most of all I enjoyed the peace and calm of this place. The Guest house is directly located next to a delicious fresh water spring and the whole area is just flourishing of green and blossoms, due to the abundance of water. So do yourselve a favour: skip busy Imlil and dive into this authentic mountain village

Abdulaziz was an amazing host, and besides the language barrier I really enjoyed my time in the Gite. The views of the mountains are amazing, and the village itself feels really paceful. Perfect place to desconect. Good breakfast too. Will be back~

“Raw and beautiful”
Highly esthetical place for those who treasure minimalism and nature. Abundant breakfast. Morocco telecom reaches here well but I didn't use it because I was info detoxing. Perfect place for a retreat and creative reboot far from society in the beauty of nature. P.S. I don't know if it's legal but I visited the garden here and it's adorable

“A unique experience surrounded by nature.”
The view from the terrace is absolutely gorgeous. Breakfasts and dinners prepared by Aziz are really extraordinary and the peaceful vibe you'll get here is something unique in all of Morocco: a stream of the river literally runs below the house so all you'll hear is water running and birds singing. A magical experience in the heart of the Atlas Mountains. Day hikes from here are a must and upon your return Aziz will take care of you with everything you might need. Couldn't recommend this place enough and I'm sure you'll probably extend your stay, just like I did.

“Very friendly and caring host who offered us a great stay at his beautiful guesthouse!”
Lovely terrace with splendid views on the mountains where we were served delicious tea and biscuits on our arrival, shukran! Due to the winter cold Hassan made fire for us in the chimney and arranged a tasteful tajine just in front of it.
