Fabulous location, pretty styling and thoughtful inclusions. The check in was easy, and it was convenient for public transport and cafes. The hosts were generous and have obviously thought about what their guests need and how to make the stay more comfortable.

“Best stay close to city”
It was really amazing and a cute place to stay with quite a lot of cafes right around the corner. The rooms were very clean with ample of basic necessities like toilet paper rolls, towels, kettle, some cuttleries, microwave, tea and coffee, and a hair dryer. Also, it wasn't far for us to reach anywhere from here because the bus was right outside which took us to QVB in 9 minutes. The owners were amazing and we could reach out to them quite easily. Also they were quite accommodating to our requests. They really made our stay worth it and also gave us some amazing suggestions of nearby cafes and bars. The room was good enough for the three of us.

Amenities were fabulous, bathroom was new very clean and perfect for what we needed. Kitchen had all the basics for breakfast and microwave meals. Hosts were very helpful and communicative with lots of recommendations and easy access to the property as we arrived late in the evening. Property location was fabulous!

“10/10 perfect stay”
This has to be one of the cutest places to stay, in my new favourite part of Sydney - Balmain! I was fortunate to meet Mark and Joy in person, they were so lovely and the room was just perfect. Space used so well and everything was clean and comfy. Shower rose was amazing too! 10/10 will recommend this cute little suite to anyone travelling to Sydney. Mark and Joy, thank you so much!

“Lovely comfortable place”
The court yard room was lovely and private,our room was very clean and modern making our stay very comfortable,communication with hosts was excellent providing really helpful information about access to property and Balmain attractions,we felt comfortable leaving our car in the free parking area,it felt like a safe area.We would be very happy staying at the Balmain Village retreat in the future.

My wife and I stayed at Balmain Village Retreat for a night and had a wonderful experience. The hospitality was exceptional from the moment we arrived. A massive thank you to the hosts for being so welcoming—especially Joy, who met us in person and went above and beyond to help with our luggage. It is a lovely, comfortable spot and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a short stay or long stay in the area!
