“Terriblely awful experience with the owner!!!”
Awful communication with owner , as he had not told us in advance that there would be no staff and that the door of the place was left open and keys were on reception table… really safe that is!!!! couldn’t get into our room due to owner not communicating about the keys being left with door of reception open and no staff at the property, my husband looked for a receptionist or staff and ofcourse found no one so he went out and shut the door, which meant the door could be only opened by staff!! We ofcourse at the time had no property access details. To leave the door without any staff to the property was unsafe itself! !!!!! Not safe!!! We told him we were not paying extra as it was his fault and he actually told us it was our fault we shut the door!!! Telling us after we’ve been to the property that the door is open and keys are at a certain location is too late!! Out of fear ,We told him we would complain and ended up driving off sleeping in our car. Unfortunately the money was already paid out to him! His messages were in polish and very intimidating with request for call out fee to open the door at 4 am. We were not staying around to have him turn up to open the door and have ago at us at 4 in the morning. We were not happy to pay him anything as we wanted to go through booking.com.
