Overview
Situated by the Pasvik River, Birk Husky - guesthouse & cabins is only 40 metres from Norwegian-Russian border. It free WiFi in public areas, as well as rooms and cottages with private or shared bathroom facilities. Central Kirkenes is 55 km away. All of the guest rooms at B&B Birk Husky have wooden floors and electric heating. Views of either the river or garden can be enjoyed from the rooms and cottages. The cottages at at B&B Birk Husky comes with a small kitchen and cooking facilities. The guest rooms does not have access to a kitchen, and for these rooms the breakfast is included. Gusts have access to a wood-fired sauna at an additional cost. Bicycles and cross country skis can be rented on site. There is also a gift shop at Birk Husky - guesthouse & cabins. Dog sledding and wagon tours can be booked in advance. Other popular activities in the area include fishing, hiking and cycling. Local dishes are served at Viking Restaurant during summer and in the Sami lavvu tent during the winter. Øvre Pasvik National Park is 45 km away. You can purchase transfer to and from Kirkenes Airport Høybuktmoen with the property, and the airport is 55 km from the B&B.

The location is stunning. Right at the river. Lot of birds there. Get a concert of red-throated divers in summer. Everything you need you'll find in the house.

“A great experience.”
This is more than just a ‘property’ - it’s a full experience! Our early winter visit was a highlight of our holiday. Chatting with the staff, local information, walks in the surroundings, northern lights, bird watching, impressive dog yard management and beautiful dogs make this a perfect place to experience the winter wonderland of northern Norway.

“Autentic cabin experience!”
We were met by a lovely french woman who showed us around! The location is beautiful and peaceful, and the cabin was very cozy! We took the sauna and went swimming which was very fun! The breakfast was amazing and they showed us the dogs after - beyond happy with our stay here and would love to come back! We had the cabin for our selves as We visited in low season.

Great location for a birdwatcher in Pasvik. Very nice staff that goes the extra mile. Fabulous dinners! I had a nice little wooden cabin.

“Comfort in remote Pasvik valley”
This a special place. Right next to the wonderful Pasvik river, looking into Russia, it offers a cosy and comfortable way to spend some time in this most remote area. Hospitality is great, and if you‘re interested in huskies, you can see them as well.

Beautiful setting with gorgeous autumn colours, very peaceful and private next to the river. Cabin was cosy, comfortable and clean. Loved being able to the huskies in action. The birds were a delight
