“Comfortable, central, easy stay apartment”

Very good location. Close to parking and old town. Spacious apartment with pretty much everything we needed. Comfortable bed in spacious bedroom. Quiet area. Good comms and explanations

“Great Town and a Great Apartment”

The property is located close to the main street and park, it is also only a few minutes walk away from the supermarkets, restaurants and bars. The apartment was a good size and benefited from having a full size bath. There was also plenty of litrature in the apartment with recomendations of places to visit and details of services, just in case they were needed. This is the third time we have stayed here and will stay here everytime until we finally buy our apartment in Sulmona.

Extremely good location in the old town, but the apartment could do with some updating.

Parking is only 2min walk away nearby coffee shop which opens early also available and a great selection of various restaurant nearby. Place is very worth the price, clean, and staff are very helpful. Well done 👏

“Comfy apartment with everything you need”

I would describe this as a comfy lived in apartment. It has the basics of everything you need but everything’s a little dated yet very comfortable. I often prefer this type of apartment over modern, characterless properties. I would definitely stay again.

The apartment is in a lovely location and overlooking the park. It is well equipped and done in a modern style, which is nice. Sulmona is a beautiful historic town that is quiet but not too quiet. We are definitely going back again. Everyone we met was so friendly and helpful.

The location was perfect. It was right in the old city centre and within reach of the festivities in the city. Hosts were very welcoming.

Clean quiet apartment centrally located in Sulmona. Didn't get too hot. Plenty of hanging space in wardrobes, plus chest of drawers. Own washing machine and can hang clothes out to dry. Hairdryer provided. TV with access to YouTube so could watch some old English movies. Clean bathroom with good shower and plenty of hot water. Cafés for breakfast close by and shop for basics just round corner. Several small supermarkets within walking distance, and large ones out of town like Oasi. Fridge freezer and good cooker. Cooked most of our meals such as pasta, pizza, arrosticini with asparagus and focaccia bread. Eateries nearby if you don't want to cook or just want an aperitivo.. Went for lots of walks in surrounding national parks, such as Caramanico Terme/Orfento Valley/ Ponte del Vallone, Santo Stefano to Rocca Calascio, Villetta Barea to Civitella Alfedena, trips to Ortona and Castel di Sangro etc. We had a hire car. Although parking is available with the apartment we chose to park in the Santa Chiara car park as we were familiar with it (14 euros per week,) covered, manned, secure and exits onto Piazza Garibaldi, which is only a short walk from the apartment. Car park is sign posted. Cleaning, bed sheets and towels changed mid way through our 11 night stay. Timetable for waste collections. Food waste collected every few days. Proprietor's daughter speaks good English. Friendly owners. We felt the apartment met our needs and was good value. Bedroom size good. Bed was fine for my husband, although a bit firm for me (but that is the case with most italian beds in our experience!) Kitchen area good. 2 seater sofa and table to eat from. Kitchen/ lounge area adequate but not huge. No kettle but can microwave water for tea. Sandwich toaster provided. All in all a very functional apartment resulting in a pleasant stay. Would most certainly return.

The host made it very easy to get from the station to the apartment and then access the key. She was very obliging with any problem. The place is in an excellent position.
