Ideal for boat trips to see the wildlife. JD was a good guide, knew where to find the regular spots for various animals.

The nature guide in the cruise was very good

Property its in on really nice place close to the river. You can book with them straight the boat and walk cruise. It was an amazing time on the boat cruises, we saw so many animals and the nature is amazing around the river. The food in local restaurant was delicious. And all the staff were really kind and welcoming.

The boat trips, wildlife on the river and the river guide were good. The location on the river is great.

the room was spacious and clean, the bed very comfortable. the lady at the reception was very helpful in assisting us with travel arrangements. we had an afternoon boat tour with them and the guide was great!

Just next to the river, simple room but clean. Guides are great,they always tried to do the best to show us the animals and we did see elephant,crocodile,monkeys and many more.they have deep knowledge so they can explain all you are interested in. Meanwhile we did cave trip which was amazing to see the bird nest collectors and the receptionist took us for some handcraft to the house of one local lady so we created birds from coconut leaf. Great experience

Miss Hana at reception was fantastic i booked the room only then picked my trips once there she took care of all my bookings and got me on boat trips when my jungle treks were cancelled for safety reasons(elephants too close) I did 1 6am boat trip 2x 4pm boats trips and a 7.30pm boat trips. I saw the big 5 in my 1st 2 trips which was awesome. The highlights were the herd of Elephatnts and Orangutans and seeing a family of otters. The accommodation is basic but has aircon , fans and showers for a budget option is was great value for money. The restraunt there is Muslim (there is no alcohol for miles) the mee goreng alay(chicken) and the daging(beef) are the best we have had. If you are looking for a cheaper alternative to the super lodges you could do a lot worse than stay here. Great staff , food anf guides

“Sober cruises to the Borneo big five”

Site by the river. Restaurant and jetty for cruises close on other side of the small street. Standard comfort accomodation. View to the river from corridor in front of the room. Economic boat tours 3 times a day with dinner included at extra fee. Seen proboscis monkeys, hornbill-birds and big crocodile, 3 of 5 Borneo big fives. Free orange utan we met downstairs from Gomantong caves viewing platform sitting 10m by the stairs the 4th of Borneo fives. Try also footwalk in Sukau to Keruak cave alone or with local guide.- tours are offered at site. We found only fresh faecies of elefant there, the 5th of the big five. There are extra payed tours to see elefants by boat in a 3hours cruise.

Boat rides spotting animals with Mr Bond was awesome, he made the stay better, thank you. Rooms were comfortable, and restaurant was ok too.

Hana at reception was very friendly and had photos displayed of the wildlife we could see on the tours. The family owned business also had river boats for tours, and a restaurant across the road with local food at very cheap prices, and a great view of the river.
