The apartment is clean and spacious, perfect for two, otherwise you need to sleep in the living room - at least there's a nice view on the fjord. The kitchen is furnished for basic cooking. t's also a super short drive from Isafjordur.

“1970's Icelandic living”
This is a great size for an apartment and made a change from the usual Icelandic accommodation. The furnishings and decor have gone full circle from 'old' to 'funky retro' but everything is clean and working. Although this is away from the main village (due to the avalanche in the 1990s) there is a fantastic park just behind the apartment block. And it is only a short drive to Ísafjorður (Tjörhúsið is a must for every visitor to the West Fjords)

It was a nice vintage house with many relics of the past. The puzzles and the TV were the standouts.

It's looking a bit neglected. The fourth mattress is very hard and the apartment needs more glasses, cups and a bigger kettle!
