Just 5 km from central Strömstad, Daftö Resort offers a summertime theme park with an outdoor pool and children's activity house. Strömstad Golf Club is 8 km away. All cottages at Daftö have a living room with a seating area and cable TV. Each has a furnished terrace and a fully equipped kitchen. The pool area includes a pirate ship and palms. A bus stop with connections to Strömstad is located right across the street. The ferry for Kosterhavets National Park departs 8 km away.

“Really peaceful stop over”
We had a self catering cottage for the night. Lovely view and location. Very quiet. We drove to Stromstad to a restaurant nearby, Staff very friendly.

“An amusing surprise”
We did not expect a pirate hotel, but tok it as an amusing surprise. We'll bring our grandchildren next time. Excellent service, nice people, good food.

“Best (theme) hotel ever!”
We had no idea what to expect from a "pirate hotel", but it was above any expectation! Besides that, it was a wonderfull room, with big balcony, big big bed and all very clean and "piratty". In detail!

“Horrible. They didnt give us the room key. Be careful, When you reach late.”
Unfortunately they just scammed us. They called us to make the payment. We did. We went to the destination in the night around 11 pm with our 2 small kids. They didnt give us the room key in the envelop.

“Inspiring and well executed pirate theme”
We stayed at Pirathotellet and loved the room which had a charming pirate theme. Seems to have been recently built, everything seemed very solid and soundproof. The terrace had nice furniture and faced south, southwest so we were able to watch the sunset from there.
