“Just grate unique place to stay. Just go there and you will thank me later”
The host was super kind and welcoming. Breakfast was great, with lots of Norwegian specialities to try. The place is nice and quiet, and the lake terrace is perfect for just hanging out and relaxing.

Fantastic stay! We had a wonderful time. Cozy, clean room, excellent breakfast, and incredibly friendly staff. The sauna was a real highlight. Highly recommend!

Perfect stop over. Great staff. Shame I missed breakfast! Unique place to stay but glad I got to experience it. Even better if you like photography. Would stay here again for sure.

“A " picturesque" experience!”
The owner was welcoming, knowledgeable about the local area, and took obvious pride in her unique accommodation. The entire hotel was absolutely charming, filled with glimpses of the hostess's avid interest and skill in photography. Two rooms with photo exhibits also enhanced our experience.

“Friendly and personal hotel where you are taken care of.”
Small and friendly place with all you need. The hostess takes care of you personally and serves a great breakfast with local food. Plenty of photography art to look at and to read about. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and a beach. The house is practically on the water in the nature. And a nice living room where you can enjoy a glass of wine or a local beer.

it is walking distance from the cute little town Straumen. the hostess is super friendly and breakfast is some of the best food I had. all local. you can see an appreciation for detail in every little part of the hotel.

The owner picked me up from the train station. It was, late in night, cold, and snowing. This was an excellent service. The owner, is very kind, helpful, and she really take care of you. In addition, the concept of the place is unique. Good breakfast too. A

“A perfect weekend getaway”
Amazing place by the water. Perfect if you feel like kayaking, SUP-boarding or just going for a swim. Rustic and authentic "at home" atmosphere. With photagraphic art everywhere, and no TV's, this idyllic spot gets your creative senses flowing. Real friendly staff, beautiful breakfast with local produce, cheeses and meats. Bed was very comfortable and spacious. Short and scenic walk to the centre of Straumen. We will absolutely come back here.
