The rooms could use a serious redo. Ours had a broken bed frame a chair that wouldn't have looked out of place in a shelter. For the asking price of almost 200 EUR this is unacceptable (but we only booked a day in advance and couldn't find anything else)

“Rural island paradise with many possibilities”
Daenholm is a small island close to Stralsund on the Baltic Sea, with a reliable bus link into town. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel as such is fairly standard for its origins as an East German establishment, but the location is great for walks and excursions. Breakfast was buffet style most of the time with a variety of edibles and drinks
