Overview
This hostel is 30 minutes’ drive from the popular Sälen Ski Resort and a 10-minute journey from the slopes of Stöten. It offers free Wi-Fi, parking and ski storage. STF Vandrarhem Sälen offers fresh, comfortable guest rooms, as well as dormitory rooms. Shared toilets and showers are located in the hall. A communal kitchen is also available for guests' use. In winter, guests with cars can rent parking heaters. Snowmobile and cross-country ski trails are found close to STF Sälen. Summer activities include mountain biking, canoeing and trout fishing on the River Görälven. Fulufjället National Park is an hour’s drive from the hostel. It is home to Sweden’s largest waterfall, the 93-metre high Njupeskär, and the country’s oldest trees, which are 9500 years old.

Mark is a great host taking care of everything. A great kitchen and dining to use and nice quiet rooms with showers nearby, super good. We finished Kungsleden South trail and choose tge perfect location to acclimatize too basic luxury

“Great winter trip, good accommodation and great skiing.”
We are very happy with our stay and the skiing experiences. We certainly would repeat our trip there. We even caught a glimpse of the aurora borealis.
