Double room was nice, clean and cosy. Bed was good, pillow in my taste little bit hard,. Breakfast was nice with many options.

We stayed in the hotel for one night during our travelling through Norway and Sweden. The hotel is located just next to the train station - perfect for us. There's a bar and a restaurant in the hotel. We've heard that it could be busy, but in our case it wasn't. We had a really pleasant and calm evening (but note: we arrived on Monday). The breakfast was tasty and variable :) We liked also the design of the hotel a lot. Our room was very cosy, comfortable and warm. The bathroom was a bit old, but functional. We can't complain :) Everything was also clean. We also appreciated the kettle in the room to make a tea or warm chocolate :)

Fabulous room with lots of space. Food was lovely and so were the staff. I only wish we had stayed longer. The lovely bar and restaurant with a lovely fire.

We liked the decor, the convenience of being on the station, the fact that they had a kettle and tea in the room (we're Irish and British) and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff.

Good breakfast and food in the restaurant. The staff is friendly. Perfect location directly next to the train station. Within minutes you are in the nature and on the hiking trails.

Very atmospheric establishment. Bedrooms were perfectly adequate, food is exceptional. The BBQ buffet on the Friday evening was just delightful.

“A good, old hotel beside the railway station.”

This is a characterful place to stay, an old wooden building with a hotel, bar, restaurant and, in some seasons, a casino. My room was quiet, despite a fairly busy bar elsewhere in the building. The wood-lined bedroom was comfotable, clean and warm, the bathroom had all that was needed, including ample hot water. A kettle and the ability to make tea was appreciated. The wi-fi worked well. Breakfast was good and greatly appreciated in an area with no obvious alternatives nearby. The location could not be more convenient for someone with no car. It is literally on the railway station. At the moment ( September 2024) there is no train to Trondheim but the relacement bus service works well.

Due early sign out, breakfast was in the box including sandwiches and drinks. Those big sandwiches were really tastefull!

The building was very, very old, and nothing had been done to make the customer feel comfortable there. It was not possible to get soap/shampoo in the bathroom because the dispenser was also very old. In addition, the lock on the bathroom door had been broken several times, and it could be seen from the door. Scratch marks on the door. Namely, the lock broke again when I locked the door from the inside while going to the bathroom. My husband tried to get me out of there for 1.5 hours. He only got 2 screwdrivers from the reception and no other help from the staff. Nobody cared that the lock was broken and the customer was locked in the bathroom. Using a hair dryer, it was not possible to do it near a mirror. Because the contact was simply not there. If the place to stay costs that much, you would expect comfort and cleanliness.

“On the edge of Sweden”

The hotel is actually at the premises of the station, closer you can't get to the train. It is kind of a weird experience to enter it: dark brown, wooden interior, colourful wall paper, wildlife hanging all over the place, a cow skin on doors. Special! The room was spacious, with couch, TV and good bed. The shower could have been somewhat wider though. Good is to have the restaurant on stairs down, good pizza. Good breakfast too. Storlien is a typical border town, with a customs office at the highway, a large supermarket for the neighbours and just outside of it a wonderful mountain area. In winter time probably more lively.
