The property was spotless and very comfortable. The location is excellent, it’s close to the Harbour, the shops and some great coffee shops and restaurants. It is also within walking distance of the train station.

Ideal location,, hosts are excellent at communicating any queries I had were answered promptly. We only had a short stay but flat is close to everything walking distance to harbour, boardwalk & centre we ate out both days so can't comment on using kitchen but it looked like everything you could need was provided. (recommend the mussels at The Ship Inn). Flat was very clean & warm and beds were comfortable, the little welcome treats & prosecco were much appreciated after the drive up. Would definitely stay again. Thank you Amanda

“Perfect”
We had a super comfortable stay at the Snug. The rooms were cozy, the lounge was a great place for us to relax as a family. There were fun games to play. All the amenities we needed. The location was perfect. Amanda was responsive and kept us informed of how to access the property. It was a perfect stay. Thank you

This was our 2nd year staying here whilst visiting family in Stonehaven. The apartment is in a great location, quiet but very central to the town centre & close to the beach. It was clean & tidy & has good facilities.

“Like at grandma’s”
Comfortable, cosy place with a very nice and helpful host. Due to storm we needed to stay half day inside. We all felt like at grandma’s. Sitting in a very soft bed, drinking hot chocolate (provided) and coffee, listening to the wind. Very close to the sea (5 minutes), to nice pancakes, and to the best in the world fish& chips. 30 minutes (for some 40) walking distance (a beautiful path) to the castle and cliffs. Stonehaven is a such a beautiful place. Wish we had more time there. The building is quiet and the neighbours are nice too. BP just at the corner. Kitchen well equipped.

“Cosy, homey flat in the centre of Stonehaven”
The Snug is well placed in the centre of Stonehaven and full of little touches that make it like a home away from home. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and other equipment including a washer and a dishwasher!, the lounge has several comfortable chairs and a nice sofa, and a big screen tele. There are two spacious bedrooms and a loo with a shower and a tub. It's all nicely kept up and the whole place just feels cosy and comfortable. There really isn't anything I'd suggest to improve on it. From the Snug, you're just a few minutes walk to the Stonehaven shops and high street, or to the lovely, scenic harbour, depending upon which direction you walk. Best thing about the place is that the host, Amanda is responsive and helpful and seems willing to do anything to ensure you have a nice visit. I would say she is just an exemplary host. Can't wait to return.
