“Good location, clean room. Compact, was fine for an overnight stay.”
The location, in the heart of the town. Located close to the sea and walk to harbour area. Breakfast was good, I had vegetarian option. Our room was compact but a wee bonus it did have a glimpse of the sea. We had booked last min. There was a car park across the street but it was closed for an event. We did however find a street beyond the square with unrestricted parking to park our car.

The photos on the website were very misleading. We looked onto a brick wall, it wasn’t very clean , the food wasn’t great. The bed was hard.

“Lovely comfortable stay.”
I received a friendly welcome at the Reception. The room was small but had everything I needed as a lone traveller. The room was clean and tidy with lovely fresh towels and bedding. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was lovely too.

“Good luck to the remaining staff”
The staff, we never stayed long thats why my score is low, they closed the restaurant because staff shortage.put a sign up saying "closed due to a gas leak" so we decided on a refund and left as I would not be guaranteed breakfast in morning as we couldn't get our delicious Sunday roast. Was sad to leave as we had a beautiful room facing sea

“Stayed for one night and it did the job”
Generally the stay was ok and met our requirements. we would probably stay there again if we were passing for 1 night as choice in the area is limited. Reasonable meal in the small restaurant. Parking directly across the road, but free from 6pm to 8am, so you need to feed the meter if you arrive before 6pm and/or get up to feed the meter for 8am the following day.
